Historic 1913 Home near Mt. Baker - Family & Group Getaways

Welcome to the Acme Motorworks Heritage House, a charming circa-1913 home in the beautiful South Fork Valley of Washington.

Whether you're planning a family getaway, exploring Mt. Baker and the North Cascades, visiting friends and family in the area, or simply looking for a peaceful place to slow down and reconnect, our historic home offers a unique place to stay in the heart of Acme.

THE HOME

Our three-bedroom historic home comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests in 5 traditional beds:

• Mattie's Room – 3 twin beds, sleeps 3
• Fred's Room – 1 queen bed, sleeps 2
• Zobrist Suite – 1 full-size bed, sleeps 2

You'll have private use of the entire home, including the kitchen, living and dining areas, loft, one full bathroom, and laundry.

The house retains much of the character that makes an early-1900s home special while providing modern comforts, including air conditioning in each bedroom and TVs throughout the home.

A PLACE TO UNPLUG

One of the things that makes the Heritage House different is the opportunity to truly disconnect for a while.

There is no Wi-Fi at the home. We recommend downloading movies, shows, maps and other entertainment before your arrival if you'd like to stream from your own device to the TVs.

Spend your evenings playing games, visiting around the table, reading, relaxing or simply enjoying a slower pace in the South Fork Valley.

EXPLORE THE AREA

Acme makes a wonderful home base for exploring this beautiful part of Northwest Washington.

Enjoy day trips toward Mt. Baker, discover hiking trails and waterfalls, explore the North Cascades, or simply take a drive through the beautiful South Fork Valley.

When you're ready for a meal or a few essentials, the Acme Diner and Acme Mercantile are just a short walk from the house.

OUTDOOR SPACE

The lawn is available for guests to enjoy. You're welcome to bring outdoor chairs and a portable BBQ grill and spend some time outside enjoying the surroundings.

Please note that our outdoor deck is currently being restored and is not available for guest use.

TRAVELING WITH A PET?

Pets are welcome with some important limitations. To help protect future guests who may have pet allergies, pets may not free-roam inside the home and must be kenneled while indoors.

Don't have a kennel with you? Just let us know before arrival and we'll be happy to have one available for your stay.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

As an authentic historic home dating to circa 1913, the house has some of the character and quirks that come with its age. Some vintage windows do not open; however, each bedroom has air conditioning and a fan for added comfort.

The home has one full bathroom shared by all guests.

We want guests to know exactly what to expect before arriving so you can settle in, relax and enjoy your stay.
