The beds were comfortable & clean. But the room itself & bathroom were in very poor condition. Missing or cracked tiles. The bath wasn’t pleasant due to staining. The window didn’t close properly and was cracked at the top section.

Staying at the Station Hotel was a lovely alternative to chain hotels (that lack character and are all the same). The Station Hotel was right by the station, which was great after a long train journey up, the building had traditional character and was tastefully decorated. Staff were genuine, friendly and helpful. The room was tasteful, comfortable, clean. Thanks for the stay.

The breakfast had a good selection of food.The staff were really nice. The room was clean but the only thing with the room there was a big dip or hole in the floorboards beside one of the beds which wasnt very safe. Never used the bar.
