This was truly an amazing experience. We absolutely loved the secluded property and the peaceful environment. The water was perfect for kayaking and fishing, and our dogs loved to swim although it was a bit cold for us other than the hot tub! I wish we could have stayed longer and we would love to come back anytime it is available.

The cabin was perfectly located in front of the lake. Almost felt like our personal lake. We took the canoe with my wife and the pups and had a great time.

Very quiet, although we were initially and then sporadically met with the sound of gunshots during our stay. But the house was well sound proofed, so we weren't bothered while we were inside. The porch was fantastic, and the lake was great for swimming.

Excellent getaway from the spectacle of the track

My son and I stayed at the Cabin Tucked Away while we attended the NHRA Virginia Nationals at the Virginia Motor Speedway. The cabin provided the perfect getaway from the track - a nice quiet location away from the spectacle. Thank you!

A hidden gem

We came up to visit our oldest son & family that we havent seen in 5 yrs. All the grandkids loved it. They loved all the fishing that they did and by the bonfire. Very nice, beautiful, relaxing place. Has everything you need to get away. The sunsets and sunrise were awesome!!! Enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake and listening to the geese and their babies. We even seen deer. We will be back in the future to enjoy again. Thank you Ameila for opening up your beautiful cabin.

Quiet and recharge

This is a cute rustic cabin in the woods with a picturesque view of a private lake though a wall of windows where you don't miss anything. If you want to fish, rest and recharge or take walks and explore nature, this is the place for you. The cabin is fully stocked for your visit and the hostess is as attentive as you need her to be.
