Located in the center of Biograd, right by the sea. The food was absolutely fantastic! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were diverse and excellent. The room was clean, spacious and with a big balcony. The staff on the reception was very helpful and kind.
In general: We had a lovely holiday, we enjoyed the view, delicious food and hospitality. We will come back for sure! Plus points: Central located hotel in Biograd na moru provides accessibility to other sights ( Zadar, Sibnik, Krkar,...) We had a cozy 3 persons room with the sea view, enough for us but you could take a bigger room/suite. Wonderful panoramic view to the harbor, sea and the village. Nice walking path every night trough the village and the beach. Special compliment for the Chef, we had half board and we did expect usual buffet quality but Chef succeed to surprise us every day with a good quality and variations for three course menu. She uses smartly the local fresh products. Staf and Housekeeping were very friendly and accommodating as far as they could. Accessibility to various not only cozy family beaches and swim pool but also big integrated sea- swim pool. Improvement points: Shower area / shower head could be cleaned better, There was some dark mold on the shower head, I hadn't reported it and cleaned it myself as much as possible. but I rather had the shower and specially the shower head hygienically cleaned. We stayed 14 nights but the sheets / bedding weren't changed. It would be nice that for a longer stay you could get fresh sheets, the same as in other hotels. One negative point: not Usable Gym. I've booked this hotel also for the Gym as it was presented on the Hotel site but the Gym was'n maintained properly and didn't get cleaned up. Two of three cardio machines were out of the order. I did reported it to Hotel and responsible Spa but unfortunately no result.
This hotel is in an excellent position. Right on the water's edge with panoramic views over the Adriatic - couldn't be more beautiful. The food though was only satisfactory. Lovely little town with lots of restaurants and lots of activities.
First time in this area of Croatia ,the Hotel is very centrally located in front of the marina and only 50 Metres from the old Town , Lovely outdoor terrace area with music every night ( don't worry it is not loud, is very pleasant and finishes around 11 PM ) nice gardens separate you from the bustle of People going to the Old town and to the Beach ( No sand like most beaches it is stony ) We found the swimming pool very small with only 20 or so sunbeds around it and most of the time there was loud music , so we gave that area a miss , thankfully the pool is around the side of the Hotel and you can't hear or see it . Moving inside the Hotel , I had read about the lift being slow and noisy and rooms being small , first of all the lift takes 25 seconds to arrive from the top ,to the ground floor and is very quiet so that has been dramatically improved . Rooms are a little small and need more storage space , however they are clean , bright and have great views ( if you get the front of the Hotel )they are cleaned every day . Food is average, it is good Family food you will find something you like but it is nothing special . but don't let the selection put you off the Hotel , it is fine and plentiful just not restaurant quality . We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful , they went out of their way to help out in any way they could, so in conclusion this is a really good Hotel with great staff , well centred for all the local activity ,
First time here been to Brac and loved that holiday but this hotel was fab reception staff cleaners waitets beauty salon all were lovely food amazing could not fault this hotel or resort at all . We are planning on going to Porec next year we love Croatia. We would defo return to Illirija in the near future.
Stayed here in June 2018. The location of the hotel was lovely right on top of the port and beach. Our room was lovely with a balcony looking over the sea and both the room and bathroom were very clean. Only thing I would say is that the walls are pretty thin and every day of our stay other than the two days we had exercusions and was up and out of our room by 7:30 we was woken up by the cleaners shouting to each other up and down the hallway constantly this was around 8:30/9am everyday so was not happy to be woken like this. Food was nice but was similar everyday so gets a bit boring we ate out quite a lot and found some lovely resturants. DUPIN was the best would highly recommend it was about a 10/15 min stroll from the hotel but the food was fabulous and the staff there are amazing aswell as the cocktails too. Would also recommend the excursions to see the waterfalls it really was beautiful. Night life was a bit quite but we found if we came out the hotel and went left walked for 10 mins we found lots of bars in the pine forest area looking over the sea. This was my first visit to Croatia and it really is a beautiful country I will be coming back for sure. Its hard to get a space round the pool so we often went to the beach instead our last 2 days we got a bed by the pool but that was only from being one of the first people there when it opens in the morning.
We had a room with beach view which was excellent, little bit small but clean and good comfortable bed :-). Everyday was super program for children, like morning gym and program for family after dinner. The group who organized were really nice specially Antea and Simona. Thanks for everything. :-) The hotel was really close to the beach and city center. Every evening had good live music. The air condition was really super in the room. :-) We liked it. One thing was not so super that the parking place is too small around the hotel and we had to use other parking place which was in different place. Roland and Krisztina from Budapest
Wonderful front Counter Staff and Manager Marianna was wonderful helping with bookings extensions, finding us accommodation in split and a return booking on the way home, This is a half board hotel offering a Buffet breakfast and buffet diner. The hotel is associated with the Kornetti hotel and the other hotel next door offering a range of entertainments and styles. These are very much beachside resort hotels appealing in particular to European holiday makers from Germany, Italy and Croatia itself. The rooms we had were excellent with sea views on each occasion The Buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods. we did not use the buffet dinner option preferring instead to investigate the many local eateries nearby. The only shortcoming was that the air-conditioning had difficulty keeping up on what were VERY hot days
This cant be a 4 stars hotel. I ve stayed there with my family in late July and the hotel had many issues. A lot of people there and they have only two small lifts (elevators). Be prepare to use the stairs quite often, even with your bags. The food is just awful. Not a lot to choose from and it is tasteless. Family rooms are very small. Basically they just put extra beds in normal (two person) room. There is not enough space even to move. Rooms are not very clean and no one makes the beds. Oh yes, and they charge extra for parking. This is just an average 3 star hotel.
Although we visited the Ilirija hotel only for a short stay, we enjoyed the hotel very much. The location is perfect, directly at the promenade and the seafront, just a few steps from the old town. The check in went smoothly and the receptionist was really friendly and helped us out with all questions we had. Parking was directly behind the hotel and the breakfast was a wide choice of hot and cold dishes. The hotel is ideal for summer holidays but also for excursions, as within an hour drive you have some great sights like the cities od Zadar & Šibenik, the Krka National park and the National park Paklenica. An excellent excursion with car and ferry is the visit to the islands Pašman and Ugljen, what we did.
