Highly recommended in the heart of the old town

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location right in the heart of the old town minutes walk from the cathedral and Roman forum. Our room was a good size with great storage. The staff member who checked us in and out was great, really friendly and helpful and gave great advice about the city.

We stayed here for 1 night. The communication before we arrived was very good, with the host advising us of the best parking options. When we arrived, the host gave us some excellent information about Zadar, and not only recommended a couple of good places to eat, but also called to make reservations for us. There is parking right outside, but the entrance is super tight and the car park itself has a very uneven surface. Having said that, we got our VW T Cross rental through the gap without any damage - it did take one of us directing and one driving! The host also allowed us to park right outside, so we didn’t need to drive over the uneven surface. The room itself had a great kitchen area, with a sink, fridge, kettle and coffee maker. The bathroom was compact, but had everything that was needed. The bed was comfy and we had a good sleep. The room was up a couple of flights of stairs and there is no lift. If we were to stay in Zadar again, we would definitely stay here.

Karlo was a great host. He was very friendly and it was easy to communicate with him. He was very helpful in telling us what to see in Zadar. The location of the apartments is very convenient and very close to everything to see in Zadar. I would stay here again if I had the chance.

Cute little space in the center of Old Town, easy walking to everything! Parking on the street was not really an issue - we found a space nearby and got a cheap permit to park overnight. Skinny little winding staircase to get to room(s). Easy & helpful communication with property host.

ght in the center of the old town in Zadar, the location cant be any better. Its a little tricky to find at first but was mentioned and marked in the Lobely Planet map which helped. The owner was suoer helpful, showed us where to park our car for free and helped us with our luggage etc. The room itself is small but has everyrhing you need.

A very nice area! Close to the majority of sites to visit and a selections of restaurants and coffee shops. Karlos a very friendly individual at the appartement office that did give us a hand with our luggage's and did gives us a very comprehensive overview of all activities in the old Zadar and area!

Once you actually get into the property you'll find that it is reasonably clean ... but without a microwave I could never give the place a perfect score. BUT note well: Even with a super-good GPS, it is nearly impossible to find the apartments even if given the exactly street address, and it is extraordinarily difficult to find a parking place ... and even if you do find one, it will be a real challenge to remember where you left your car. One good thing: When I was thoroughly lost and could not find the apartments, the desk clerk walked from the property to a restaurant across the town to find me and lead me to the property. That is A service if I've ever seen it.

Out stay at Apartments Donat was great. Everything is close by - minutes away from the Sea Organ, the Forum and everything Zadar’s Old Town has to offer. The room was extremely clean and had everything you may need during your stay. The owners are exceptionally friendly and provided recommendations of things to do and restaurant options to try.
