Nice hotel for an overnight stay while on the highway. Clean and comfortable at a reasonable rate.

Staff was extremely rude, Wife had to use my card due to hers being compromised on the trip at a gas station. Eventhough the room was in my name and she had the card, the still made me fill out a form to use the card via email. Took 1 1/2 hours to check in. Parking was pathetic, share a lot with another store, and the guy who worked at the store kept coming out and making people move. Only stay here if you like a challenge, if you just want a peaceful night, look else where!

For the price it was fine, the room was clean and comfortable.

Just on a Whim I wanted to get out the house so I booked a room for Friday and Saturday at the Best Western Meander. The room was nice. I was spacious and Clean. I just kicked back and Watched Tv. I visited the attached restaurant Saddies twice for Dinner and visited Quaker State and Lube Saturday Afternoon for Lunch. I did the Hot Wing Challenge had a couple drinks and went back to my room. I really enjoyed my stay at The Best Western. And will do that again in the future. I would deffinitely recommend the The Best Western to my Friends. The nighty rate was affordable and the Staff were friendly.

Walked into room and the fridge had food left in it. The wash rags had hairs throughout them. They made the beds but only pulled them up over the pillows didn't change them or anything. The toliet and shower had to be wiped before use. Very dirty room.

Lobby and staff were nice upon check in. Actual property is a very old building that has been given only a superficial makeover. The heat was not turned on in the room when we arrived. The wardrobe was a rickety affair and the ironing board almost clocked me in the head when it fell out. Upon returning from event the room was a furnace even though I set the thermostat at 68. With the heat on it became evident that once upon a time the room was a smoking room. With my child fast asleep changing rooms was not an option. The bathroom was a closet with just enough room for a tub and toilet. The toilet paper holder sticks into your hip its so tiny. The property is not sound proof in anyway. So I heard every person in the hallway all night and in the morning. To top it off I woke in the morning with a migraine from the smoke smell. This property is not up to chain standards. I have stayed at better 2 star hotels. We avoided the breakfast, did not shower and headed for home ASAP in the morning.

Room was very nice. Didn't like that the sink was outside of the bathroom itself. It did have a hair dryer, but bring your own unless you don't mind staying next to the wall. Very short cord.

Room was clean and functional. Nothing fancy but clean and liveable with 2 kids. Breakfast was reasonably good too. A very good choice for the price you pay.

Reception & staff were very freindly and helpful, and the room was a clean as it could be. But, the room was cold, it was noisy from both the hallway and from outside, the Shower was luke warm and the towels were rough.

was ok, nice breakfast and very clean area, we like it

I picked this hotel as I was driving cross-country on 1-80. As a single young female traveling only with my dog, I wanted a place that was close to the highway, took pets, and was relatively safe. I pulled in at midnight and immediately noticed the GIANT strip bar across the street for all the truckers. I immediately felt totally uncomfortable. As I took my dog up to our second floor room, I noticed that it felt more like a dormitory- people were coming and going not looking like travelers. We locked ourselves in and tried to sleep but with the paper thin walls, I not only heard people in the hallway ALL NIGHT but was awakened at 4 am by someone throwing up in the room adjoining to mine. I noticed that the door that joined the rooms must have gone straight into the bathroom of the room next door so the sounds of the puking person were a mere 3 feet from my bed through the paper thin walls and the yellow light under the door. It felt like they were in the room with me!! In the morning I took my dog out and the guy across the hallway was hanging out with his door open, shirt off, half in the hallway. DUDE- why would you do this? Then he was vacuuming the hallway so maybe he worked there? But he had a dog in the room... and that was the room where I heard people all night... so maybe he lives there. WHATVER i'm never ever going back there and do not recommend to anyone. THE ONLY GOOD THING WAS STARBUCKS ACROSS THE STREET>

First room I checked into the bath room sink was clogged. I had to request a new night light lamp missing.

The fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy and very distracting. I did not like the fact that the vanity was separate from the bathroom-it was distracting to the person sleeping. When we checked in , there was nobody at the desk for a period of time. When we came back to our room later in the day, the electronic keys had quit working and we had to go to the front desk where there was no one available--seems she was plunging a toilet. The complimentary breakfast was adequate--they ran out of juice one morning with no one in sight. The cereal selection was wierd--not your ordinary Cheerios or Corn flakes. The room and bathroom were clean. The linens were clean. It seems like they just lost the little touches that make a stay pleasureable.

Rooms are nice, upkeep of hotel could of been better.

Dear Dave, We apologize that your experience with us was not better. Our staff strives to give great customer service and I apologize we did not do that for you. We do require a credit card authorization form to be filled out for any guest who the card is not in their name as well as if the guest staying in the room is not the one registered on the reservation. This is for the safety of all guests as well as the protection of the person's credit card being used. We apologized it took so long for check in to be done. We also are sorry to hear you had not a good time with parking. We really do strive to make sure everyone is able to get a good night's sleep. We hope you would give us another try if you are in the Youngstown area again. Thank you for your stay and review. -Amanda, assistant manager, Quality Inn
