Overall, the house was better than in the pictures. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The private beach at the edge of the lake was beautiful, but what we didn’t anticipate was the 2 minute walk to the lake park with a dock, slide into the water, and diving board. Spent many days there were all kids and adults had a blast. 10 minute drive from lake cowichan town center made it easy to get groceries and got tubing down the river.
