The stately home of Duncombe Park is a short stroll away along with Helmsley Castle and the award-winning National Centre for Birds of Prey. As the central meeting point for three walking routes, including the Cleveland Way, Helmsley is a mecca for walkers and cyclists alike. The central market square is a focal meeting point where you can find visitors and locals passing the time and enjoying watching the world pass by. The historic city of York and the Dales town of Thirsk are a short drive away, and the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough are within easy reach.
