Excellent apartment

We stayed at Rydale house in a beautiful, well equipped apartment. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Would absolutely return.

Super 10 night stay at River and Castle.

Our 2nd stay at Ryedale House, we loved the views and spectacular sunsets from River and Castle, the location is ideal a short walk to the attractions, the gated parking is a bonus, will definitely be back.

Perfect fit for our needs

As a family of four - 2 adults with grown up children this apartment was ideal. The beds were super comfy and the apartment was well maintained and very quiet. Location is ideal and we were able to explore York entirely on foot. Having a parking space included was a great bonus.

A super apartment, beautifully clean and well appointed. A small welcome pack. It would benefit from the large desk and chair being removed from the main bedroom as it is quite congested. Just a heads up - you need to remember to take shampoo and shower gel as this isn’t provided. Looking forward to staying again.

River and Castle

I stayed here for around 5 months whilst working in York, the apartment itself is lovely, lots of space, clean and modern. Parking is good, if the car parks full it can be tricky getting into your own space. I like the fact it has security gated access, makes you feel very safe. The apartment itself is absolutely red hot when the suns out as it hits the apartment all day. Very enjoyable, would stay again.

Birthday weekend

We had a lovely stay, location excellent and views fabulous. Nicely furnished and on site parking a bit bonus. The major downside was the faulty sliding window to the lounge. There was a note to state if was faulty and not to open it. However in its closed state the cold wind came in on both the side and top of the frame. We tried placing cushions and blankets but it was uncomfortably cold in the lounge all weekend whereby we had to sit wrapped in blankets. I would stay again but only once the window is fixed or in the summer months.

Booking and check-in process was easy, all information was provided several days upfront. The flat was clean, nicely furnished and everything we needed was there. The location was great right in the city centre. We had a very nice stay.

Perfect place

I enjoyed my stay, everything was perfect. The view, the apartment, cleanliness, the location, the service, bus stop next to the building and Tesco is very close.
