The cottage was spotless — and pleasantly adorned with beach-friendly quotes, sayings and decorations. The coffee was plentiful, the bed was great, the TV had everything. If we’d gone closer to warm weather, we’d have used all the beach gear as well. The small shower wasn’t easy for me to maneuver in — and I’m not that big — but was a little blip in a great weekend getaway.

Cozy, sunny cottage was welcoming. Good access to beach, though further walk or drive required to get to shops and restaurants. On the quiet end, nice area, properties well-kept. Property was very clean. Would definitely recommend this. Something to know ahead is that the stairs are very steep, so those that are unsteady or if you have small children be aware. Also the bedroom loft is in a finished attic, so the only place to stand up is in the center of the room. Just to prepare you. Host provided many amenities for the kitchen and beach, it is clear they care about their property. Very pleasant stay!
View was as advertised. Bright, sunny kitchen.

Amazing! Steve wasn’t lying when he said everything we would need is here. 8 Beach towels. 4 beach chairs. Smart tv. Fast WiFi! Literally about a hundred yards from the beach. Full kitchen with baking sheets, pots, salt pepper, silverware, bowls, cups, plates, mugs. AMAZING stay! Sleeps 2 adults and kids perfectly. Don’t hesitate! Our neighbors were perfect. No issues with trash disposal or noise or crazy traffic or anything.

Super cute and clean place with everything you need including a view of the ocean, which is literally across the street! Host was very responsive and communication was excellent! Highly recommend! (set your alarm for the incredible sunrises that are also visible from the upstairs bedroom!)

The neighbors were awful, they were not respectful of our space or yard. We reached out to the owner and the problems were not solved nor did he offer any kind of accommodation/refund. We will defiantly not stay here again. The property manager never reached out either to see if any of the issues were solved

Great sea-side spot!

Clean and cute space! Check in process was a breeze and very easy. The cottage was very clean and as described by the listing. The property manager was very easy to contact and very responsive. Literally across the street from the beach, which was the main draw for me. Great location and easy access. Neighborhood is pretty quiet and clean. Hope to be back!

We loved our stay at this beautiful beach cottage. The home was very clean and Steve has done a fantastic job ensuring the house is fully stocked with everything you might need. It is perfectly located, just steps from Long Sands Beach! Steve went above and beyond as a host and was extremely responsive to any questions I had. My only recommendation would be to consider a small washer/dryer for the unit. We would absolutely rent this home again and would highly recommend it to others!

3 nights week of July 4th

Property was very clean. Lots of towels, keurig with pods and plastic as well as regular dishware. My husband and I are both over 75. We are in good shape but found the stairs to the bedroom/loft pretty steep. Since the bathroom was downstairs it could be hard to navigate for the elderly.

Great location!

Perfect cottage for a getaway to York Beach! Owners have thought of every detail, including yard chairs, beach chairs, beach towels, and a small basket of snacks! Very clean and comfortable, and easy to work ACs and fans. Beach is across the street- you can see the ocean from the house! Very pleasant way to spend the weekend with my family.

Perfect Weekend

Very clean, VRBO description accurate. Easy check in and check out. Comfortable bed. Loved having a separate loft/sleeping area from living area. Great location, across from Long Sands Beach. Steve was very responsive and accommodating.

The perfect place to enjoy Long Sands

We've spent our holidays in York several times, and this place was just perfect. Close to the beach, clean, welcoming, and fully equipped (a rarity). Steve is a host who really took care of us and was available when needed. We stayed for two weeks and would have stayed two more weeks if it had been possible! Eric et Genevieve
