This hotel is located near to Yogyakarta monument. Near to Dr. Sardjito hospital too. The room is big and clean. The staff are very kind. You can find various kind of foods such as Western, Indonesia or Chinese. This hotel has gym and swimming pool but the size is small.
I booked two rooms for our family. The room I stayed (no. 620) is stinky. I complained to the receptionist and house-keeping but seems like no one really cares, only responds when I asked. I understand that they are on peak period (long weekend) but it’s not ok to neglect customer complaints. They also let people to swim with daily clothes (t-shirt and long pants), that leaves the pool very dirty.
We stayed in 5 rooms for 3 days. The night before checking out, I told front desk to prepare all the bills to be paid. We're going to leave early for morning flight the next day, I want to make sure that we can have a quick check out, so I paid all the consolidated bill, except some extras, such as mini bar, which has to be paid when all the guests are checking out. In the morning we checked out, paid mini bar and all other extra bills. A few days later, I got an email from a manager saying that I still haven't paid a few other bills, with a total of around 30 USD. The letter, requesting me to pay the bill, doesn't apologise at all for the inconveniencen not saying sorry, just ask me pay the bill. I was travelling, and bank transfer wasn't always easy. Where does this hotel manager learn about communication etiquette?
All the good things I experienced throughout my 3 nights stay: - All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Our room smelt fresh and felt clean. - Bed was thick and comfortable. Sleep quality very high. - Room and bathroom were very clean, towels thick and fresh. - Staffs were polite and helpful. - Supermarket (Indomaret) was diagonally opposite. - Becak just outside the hotel, or plenty around the vicinity. - Breakfast spread was very extensive with a huge variety of choices. Particular mention is the juice-to-order counter, you choose your fruit (or vegetable) and they juice it for you right there, so it’s very fresh. - Central location, about 5 - 10min on becak to Malioboro. - Small details such as cold towels and thirst quenching welcome drinks during check in and additional drinking water on request. The not so good things: - Swimming pool a little too small. So we didn’t use it. Tips: If you have paid for breakfast but can’t make it to eat in the hotel because of an early departure flight or early tour, ask for a breakfast box. The staff will be happy to pre pack for you.
The location is very good, in the middle of shopping street. The lobby is welcoming guest nicely, the room is spacious, nice, modern and clean. But the food is surprisingly not well prepared and the taste is bit salty. Better dish would definitely escalate the value
the room was spacious, clean and the amenities are complete. front office and bellboy fast responsed when I looked for my luggage. breakfast was full of variance and overall tasted yummy. my favorite was the cheese cake.
Stay for 3 nights for business purpose. The cleanliness is superb and the breakfast is very delicious! I love the traditional corner. Jamu and dessert corner. All staff is very helpful and FRIENDLY. The chef and waiter serve you very well!
I booked directly with the hotel and despite the website advertising "1 night from 413,223 + taxes" When I arrived at reception I discovered that I'd actually booked one afternoon for this price. This is totally misleading and would be illegal in Europe or America. As a result of this dishonesty it took me 20 minutes to check in and doubled the price, frankly I wish I'd walked out but the 413,223 was guaranteed by my credit card so I felt obliged to stay. The standard room was fine, not big, not small and efficient bathroom, a bit dated. The view from the room was not particularly nice overlooking wasteland. I didn't find the location very convenient. There were only 2 bath towels in the room and no hairdryer which there should have been. I had to ask twice to get one which shows the poor level of service here. I wanted to use the ironing board but again the cover didn't fit the board and wouldn't stay on, so I couldn't. Bizarrely I wanted to use the fridge to cool something but it was locked, so I phone to reception to unlock it. Someone arrived at the door and unlocked the fridge and completely emptied the contents, what are we, 5 year olds? I have never experienced this sort of behaviour from a hotel before, totally offensive imo when they hold your cc information. This experience has made me cross Aston hotels off my list for future bookings.
I love this hotel so much! Once you enter the lobby, you’ll smell a fresh ang powdery scent. The staffs will welcome you with a big smile and will cheerfully attend to your needs. The structure of the hotel is really beautiful, the rooms are well-maintained. The buffet breakfast is great! The ala-carte menus for lunch and dinner are also world-class. The food prices are super worth it! Over all, this hotel exceeded my expectations for a 5-star accommodation. No single centavo would be wasted! I’m sure you’ll love it too!
I stayed for 9 nights in here for business. The hotel served us with a lot of variety of breakfast menu. If you want to eat one of famous fried chicken in jogya, you could walk to ayam goreng tojoyo with only 5 minutes. Walk more if you want to reach galleria mall and lippo mall yogya. In front of the hotel you might find superindo (supermarket). Driving to airport takes around 20 minutes. But the hotel only has small swimming pool and gym. In overall, it's a pleasure to stay in here.
