Room was comfortable and spacious by Asian standards. Included breakfast was a good mix of eastern and western foods. Location was very central to my business needs. I stayed for two nights and would stay again.
I love everything about this place. It is beautiful and it has amazing service. Make sure to try their breakfast. The staff is very friendly and courteous it was a great experience staying with them. I was very positively surprised.
Had very nice stay in Novotel, they have upgraded my room from standard to suite Hotel ambience is quite wonderful We stayed only for one night Value for money and hotel had all verity of foods Staff are so nice and well mannered
The hotel is located within a park with nice landscape. Breakfast was good with many varieties. My room is spacious and new with good finishes. However, as I arrived at a 30C hot day in spring, my sleep quality was compromised as there was no cooling provided. The fan was just circulating the air. My room was facing the indoor atrium and thus, there was no fresh air from outside that could cool the room even I opened the door to the balcony.
Of the five hotels I stayed in during a week's visit to China for conferences, this was the best. We arrived very late at night after a long journey but the restful pool in reception and comfortable seating made our journey worthwhile. I had a top floor room with a balcony and very modern shower room. Pity I was only there one night. Downside is that it is quite a long way to the city, and taxi drivers seem to make up their price. Going into town we were charged 40 Yuan but coming back a different driver took a different route, got lost and tried to charge 55 Yuan. Buffet breakfast and dinner were good, with plenty of options for Westerners as well as Chinese cuisine. Only drawback was that I was there for a conference with the room arranged by the organisers. My room had been cleaned ready for the next guests before I had chance to check out of it, which was inconvenient. I think this was due to the English/Chinese language barrier as my request to the conference organisers for a late check-out may not have reached the hotel reception team.
Attending for a conference outside of the city, otherwise I would stay closer to the city center. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable, the beds are a bit low to the ground, but hey. The restaurant was less than impressive so much so that we opted to taxi into the city center for a really nice dinner at the Vancouver Grill in the Fairmont hotel. Glad we did it.
This is a nice hotel situated in a technology park, and it was an expensive 280RMB taxi ride from the airport. The room was lovely, with an enormous and very comfortable bed, and a great bathroom. The wifi was not that great, with many websites taking forever to load or internet connection simply dropping out. The breakfast buffet was extensive, but the room service was awful. After a long day, I ordered something light to eat in my room. It took 30 minutes to arrive, which was fine, but the food was cold. It was unpleasant to eat. The hotel needs to find a way to transport hot food so that it is still hot when it arrives at the room.
I stayed there for a one-week business trip. My room was very large, nothing was missing. The staff was friendly throughout all levels. I have to say that my I didn't get my baggage at Nanjing Airport immediately, and the ladies at the desk (together with my customer) helped a lot to get it to the hotel. They were also helpful to showing me the ATM and the convenience store in the same building (which is the Suning wing of it). The hotel provides a well-equipped fitness room. I broke one of the treadmills (cause I was simply too fast ;-) ), and a repairman immediately got it fixed. A swimming pool (25 meters!) is also included - though the water quality is a little below Olympic standard (the temperature is OK). The location is clearly quite far-off the centre - at the other side of Purple Mountain. Metro station next to the hotel is under construction. When finished, it will be very interesting for a touristic stay.
Have stayed here few times before, this January again for a swim competition. Wasn't sure about it since a not so great experience from last year. This year i have to give it to the superb restaurant staff, especially chef Alex, who went an extra mile and opened a kitchen already at 6 am, so 100+ young swimmers, coaches and parents could get a good, hearty breakfast before the competition started. Also when asked to change our room to a quieter one on the top floor, no problem at all. Thank you Novotel for a welcoming stay, will be back soon.
I've stayed here and enjoyed it a few times. This time around the heating in my room seemed blocked at 25C. It took speaking to the English-speaking reception manager Cao Qi to get it sorted a day later - he was swiftly onto the case, and immediately changed my room to a great room, larger and above all COOL! I'm also grateful to the superb restaurant staff, especially Chef Alex, who took care of me, helped me understand how to really enjoy the different foods and spices in the buffet. The team make this hotel.
