The Westin Wuhan Wuchang5.0 out of 5.0

The room they provided was fancy, clean, and the touch of modern Chinese culture with the addition of the painting and chair's design, making it difficult to forget that for the fact that we were in China. The attention to detail was splendid, and the service was remarkably fast and reliable. The staffs were friendly and they were willing to help so much but the lack of English speaker made it a bit hard to get some information or even help. Overall, everything was amazing
Stayed for three nights and although the room are very nice and comfortable the food is of a low standard. Usually cold in limited quantities and hardly any western choice. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help.
We highly enjoyed the outstanding service, our spacious room, the excellent river view and one of the best executive lounges in Asia. Front Office Manager, James Wang, took great care to assure our utmost satisfaction. The photo James provided was a nice personal touch. The executive lounge offered an excellent breakfast and a nice variety of food/snacks in the afternoon/evening as well as Happy Hour drinks. The buffet dinner should be improved. Food and drinks were not replenished, and additional choice of food dishes is desired. Overall, highly recommended hotel.
My wife and I came to the Westin for our anniversary dinner. We were both impressed with the selection. Everything was fresh and the presentation was fabulous. Also, because they knew it was an anniversary dinner we were set up with a private table sprinkled with rose petals. This was an unexpected but greatly appreciated act. I would certainly recommend this Westin to anyone who is coming to Wuhan.
Its a biz trip while this time I brought my family with me. As a Platinum member, I was upgraded to a suite upon my arrival. The front desk manager led us to the room in person and showed us the detail of everything, so flattered. The room was super spacious with splendid river view. We were also surprised to find my family photo was printed out and displayed on the table with welcome fruits basket which made us feel at home. Me and my family will keep choosing this hotel when back to Wuhan again!
This hotel is beautiful, with terrific service, and great rooms. The staff was courteous, and very helpful with every need we had. Can't wait to stay here again. From setting up taxis, to exchanging currency, this hotel handled everything.
Well maintained room and facilities. Still one of the best hotels in Wuhan. Chinese restaurant is excellent with a wide range of dishes. but lack of service and attention during dinner service at Chinese restaurant; again very noise with children's playing around. checked out at 6am, receptionist was sleeping, have to wake up her. service needs upgrade.
Quick friendly check in, Ben Xu, assistant executive friendly manager introduced himself and asked if i have any special needs, i should just let him know. Very comfortable room on the 23rd floor. Haggen Daaz ice cream available in lobby. Room had all amenities with extra large shower stall. Water temperature easily adjustable, with spray and rain shower heads. Breakfast had wide variety especially fresh fruits and vegetables. Room had electrical outlets adjacent to the bed, and TV had CNN. Room was very clean and very well furnished with lounge type of couch. Hope to stay here again when in Wuhan, since not too far from the wuchang railway station.
If you want to truly experience the spirit of Wuhan city, choose this one. You won’t regret. Wuhan is a river city but you can enjoy “ocean view” here! The hotel is sitting right on the south bund of iconic Yangtse River and very easy to access to metro station. The staffs in the hotel are very professional and polite. As lots of them have oversea education background, they speak fluent English. The manager of executive lounge, Judy is one of these super nice staffs. The hotel grill house serves authentic Oz steaks. Little bit pricy but tastes good. If you are meat lover, don’t miss it. Many local tradition food options in breakfast buffet, you can try to challenge the Wuhan style spicy sauce. But more salad option would be nice. Anyway a big solid thumb up, def gonna choose this hotel again.
Rooms have been well maintained with good housekeeping while hotel facilities have not aged at all. Still one of the best hotels in Wuhan. Chinese restaurant is excellent with a wide range of dishes. Tasty without salt and oil overdose.
