Winchester Tiny House - How's the Serenity?

Winchester Tiny House in Wolgan Valley is the perfect place to sit back and stop thinking for a while.
It is a self-catered private retreat just 2.5 hours from Sydney. It's half an hour from Lithgow and set within a stunning landscape of rugged cliffs, rolling pastures and a variety of wildlife.

Guests will be escorted to the location by your hosts either in the hosts' vehicle or in yours if it is a 4WD or AWD. The first one and half kilometres is very steep.

The Tiny House is completely off-grid and eco-friendly. The Tiny House is self-catered so bring your food and beverages with you!

Sightseeing within Wolgan Valley is easy - so bring your walking shoes or bicycles or drive around to the many historical and beautiful places. The Wollemi National Park Glow worm tunnel is right opposite our Tiny House and the walk starts just 5 minutes from our Tiny House.

There are no city lights, so the night sky can be stunning as you sit beside the open fire.

The Tiny House provides you with a fridge, gas stove and oven and is completely solar powered. It has a television with limited coverage and free wifi. There is a diesel heater for those chilly winter nights and a composting toilet and hot shower.

You will be provided with beautiful linen and towels and a nice warm doona. All of your crockery and cutlery is supplied and basic cooking utensils and there is a fire pit - with wood provided - for your enjoyment.
The apartment is heated and features a kitchen and a patio. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a fireplace, a coffee maker, and a dining table.

Amazing Stay

My partner and I had an amazing get away for the Easter long weekend. Olwyn and Ross were excellent hosts and added lovely touches to the tiny home. The view was incredible and the location was peaceful, tucked away from external traffic. There were plenty of hikes in close proximity (the Glow Worm tunnel is definitely worth a visit) and the area was lovely to drive around. We look forward to coming back for a longer visit next time!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a tiny home nestled in the breathtaking Wolgan Valley, and I can't recommend it enough. The house was absolutely charming, with every detail thoughtfully designed to maximize space and comfort. The views were nothing short of stunning and a perfect sense of tranquility that made it the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. One of the highlights of our stay was meeting the owner, Olwyn. She was incredibly welcoming and shared fascinating insights into the history of Wolgan Valley and its surroundings, adding a special touch to the experience. The entire experience was peaceful, quiet, and rejuvenating. If you're looking for a serene escape surrounded by nature, this tiny home in Wolgan Valley is a hidden gem. Perfect location to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy life that majority of the world lives in these days. The loudest noise you hear is probably your partner snoring next to you and you’re greeted to views of endless Valleys and wildlife. The Glow Worm Caves are walking distance and also something to add on your weekend itinerary!

The best peaceful place

It's a tiny house with an unbelievable view, with no one around. It's the perfect place to escape the city and find peace. You need a 4WD to get there, but thanks to Olwyn and her husband's kind escort, we arrived safely. Not only that, they kindly explained everything to ensure a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to everyone. It's an experience we won't forget!
