Good location for skiing and the town

Not recommended!There is no floor heating available as claimed in the dutch version of the description.On Christmas eve/night on top of that the floor heating was not working the main heating system suddenly stopped to work too, with -8 Celcius.Next morning(first Christmas day the Host was unreachable by phone and no replies on our reach outs on the VRBO platform messageboard. After hours of waiting on first Christmas day with freezing temperature inside, we cleaned the apartment left in the afternoon and went home. 27th the owner finally contacted us on the message board,(didnt even call us,Which i asked for 2 times)and said the heating was fixed right after we left. No support and no compensations for the last 3 days of our christmas holidays. We have been reasonable and thoughtfull reaching some sort of solution. But in the end we even got being unfair accused of breaking a glass of the fireplace and were charged 150 euro.This was our first and last very bad communication experience with Host of this apartment.

Heerlijk koel huisje. Zelfs met buiten 33 graden is het binnen koel. Wel cv dus kacheltje kan ook lekker aan. Keukenspullen zijn verouderd. Er is bijna niets om lekker te kunnen koken. Was vorig jaar zelfde huisje dus had nu zelf mn snijplank goed mes etc meegenomen. Heel dichtbij de liften dus prima om te mountainbiken. Hele fijne 2 weken gehad.

Heel leuk appartement op de beneden verdieping van het gebouw. Steile trap naar beneden. Voor ons geen probleem. Huisdier vriendelijk. Gezellig ingericht, tuintje lekker koel binnen. Dat wij er waren was het 30 graden buiten maar binnen heerlijk door de rolluiken.Mountainbikes kondennzp innde tuin. Op korte afstand van de parvours van the mother. Prima uitvalsbasis. Zo thuis om te lunchen. Heerlijk gehad.

Nice holiday home

We had a great stay in Winterberg. The holiday house is ok and offers everything you need for a 1 week stay. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 children and they especially loved the garden and to be able to play in the snow there.

Die Lage und Nähe zum Bikepark ist super, allerdings geht aus der Beschreibung nicht hervor, dass es sich um eine Kellerwohnung handelt, die sehr feucht ist und zu der eine steile Treppe hinunterführt. Für alte Leute und Hunde ungeeignet!

Alles is wat verouderd maar wel degelijk. Keuken, miste een aantal keuken spullen zoals een vergiet, vleestang, ovenwanten, pannenonderzetter. Bedden waren hard en de kussens heel dun. Wel heerlijke 5 dagen gehad.

Très bon séjour à Winterberg

Court séjour de 4 nuits à Winterberg dans ce très joli appartement situé au rez-de-chaussée d'un petit immeuble qui en compte 6. Charmante terrasse donnant sur un petit jardin très agréable. Rue calme et sans passage. Appartement très cosy et comprenant tout le nécessaire pour un séjour comme à la maison. Equipement de cuisine complet et literie vraiment confortable. La propriétaire est très réactive et vous réponds par mail dans des délais très courts. A 2 minutes en voiture se trouve un grand parking ainsi que deux sociétés de location de ski. De là, un court trajet de 2 minutes à pieds vous mènera aux remonte-pentes. Le village de Winterberg se trouve à 5 minutes en voiture. Je recommande vivement cet appartement!

prima vakantiewoning

Alles binnen handbereik, je kan alles te voet doen, met skibotten gemakkelijk met auto in 2 minuten op de piste en veel parkeergelegenheid. Het appartement zelf is tip-top, gezellig, mooi uitzicht op de ski liften en bobsleebaan en landschap, het avonturenpark,...op gelijkvloers gemakkelijk met het tuintje om de hond eens buiten te laten, het was er heel proper, geen vuiltje ontdekt, en alles was aanwezig, keukenhanddoeken, badhanddoeken, bedlinnen, zelfs opgemaakte bedden bij aankomst. Als we nog naar Winterberg komen zal het zeker daar zijn, het was onze derde keer in Winterberg, maar het beste appartement van de 3. Hele vriendelijke eigenaars, en de contactpersoon bij aankomst,mevr. Reinhardt, alsook de poetsdame is super! We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Prima huisje wat wat verouderd kwa inrichting en kwa keuken apparatuur maar helemaal fijn voor een aantal dagen. De zonsopgang over de bergen heen was elke dag weer een feestje om naar te kijken! Opzoek naar een rustige plek dichtbij de pistes dan is dit jouw plekje!

Nice place to stay in Winterberg with family

We (parents, 2 children, 1 dog) stayed in Winterberg at Christmas 2017. We had a great time. The appartment has a terrace with a small garden, wich was great for the kids to make a snowman or to have a snowballfight while we were cooking or doing the dishes. It feels like you rent an house instead of an appartment. The bathroom and kitchen had everything you need for a 1-week holiday. Specious bedrooms with large wardrobes. No problems with heating. Parking place at the building. Near the skislopes and bobsleigh track. More then enough shops and restaurants in Winterberg. Winterberg has a lot of activities in Winter, but we think about exploring Winterberg at summer as well. And in that case we surely would stay in thes appartment again!
