This house was the perfect size for 16 friends!! We had more than enough room if someone needed space but the main floor living areas were huge enough to hold all of us playing games and having meals. I would come back anytime with friends and I imagine several families would love this place too.

Booked 4 days for me, my mom, and 3 aunts to gather and spend quality time. We loved our stay here! The home was gorgeous, private, and had everything we could possibly need for a girls’ week. We plan on coming back here every year!

The house is a really great house in every way. It is close enough to the city of Trenton, GA which has excellent shopping facilities - especially grocery stores. Be aware that you will be charged 10 per person per day for each guest beyond four persons. The owner explained this policy to me, as it is not included in the listing. Even with that charge, the price per person per night is quite resonable. Over all, it is a really great home and we would stay there again.

Beautiful location

The location and property itself are so beautiful! The house was perfect for our family and well stocked with amenities. The only drawback was maintenance of the property. It needed some TLC. i.e. air filers were absolutely full of gunk. Luckily there were filters available so we changed them ourselves and cleaned the vents. There are some areas on the deck where the wood is unsafe and needs to be replaced. The trash had not been picked up from the previous rental so it was overflowing in the shed and garbage receptacle. The doorknob for the door to the deck was broken completely and came off in our hands with the first turn. The outdoor cafe lights on the deck were not useful because 95% of them were burn out. The hot tub could not be used because it was leaking. The pool sticks for the pool table were broken and there was no chalk.

Very Relaxing

This was one of our family vacation. The pictures on the website doesn't give this home justice. It is so beautiful and had a lot of space to accommodate everyone. Only wish that more things were available for the kids to do outside but it did have a awesome theater, pool table and hot tub that they did enjoyed. Most definitely will book again.

This property is fantastic! We were a group of 9, ranging in age from 5 to 71, and we all enjoyed it! The decor was amazing. The house was so comfortable. Very comfy beds. Wish there had been end tables in the living room and bedside tables, but definitely not a deal breaker. We used the hot tub and fire pit. So nice! We enjoyed watching the hang gliders too. Communication with the owners was very easy and they were very responsive. I highly recommend staying at this property.

A Celebration of 95 Years

It was fabulous. The location is idyllic. The valley is beautiful. Watching the ultra lites and hang gliders was so much fun. This house was a wonderful place to take my 95 year old mother in law for HER weekend.close to Chatt for fun and Walmart for necessities. Would return for a moth if I could. :)Thank you to Sage for being available.

Family vacation

We had a great time at The Retreat at Wildwood. We had multiple families fit comfortably. Smooth checkin process, the owners reached out after our first night to make sure everything was in order. The kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely book a trip here again!

Amazing Views!

This home was perfect for our youth group trip! All of the beds were comfy and in great shape. There was ample space for our group to stretch out and find quiet time. It's a beautiful home!All instructions were clear and process was easy. Communications with host were also excellent. Would definitely recommend this home for groups!

Will be a nice place

There was construction being done at the house. Our check-in was delayed 2 1/2 hours because they were still cleaning the house until 6:30pm. One Master Bathroom was being remodeled. I was told about this two days before arrival but was also told that it would still usable. This was not the case. The hot tub took 2 days to warm up to be usable, but we did not because you had to walk thru construction "dust" covering half the back deck and hot tub and it got on anything that touched it. The top deck did not have a railing, which I would be is against code to rent like that for safety reasons. I specifically asked if it was a wood burning stove and was told yes. I bought wood to bring and the wood burning stove was gone. Fire pit was filled will construction debris. The house is nice, but it should not have been rented with remodeling in progress.

Family Christmas

We had 16 of us stay for Christmas. We had one night and not long enough. Great house for many people. Lots of space and kids had a blast. Just stinks with all the host fees and all the extras Venmo adds.
