The house is beautiful and has a wonderful, open floor plan. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Diesel, the neighborhood dog, who is very friendly and loves attention. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs on the back porch and using the gas grill during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for cooking, although the knives and skillets are showing some wear and could use updating. While the bedrooms themselves are nice, the sheets are also worn and have noticeable pilling, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The listing mentions bringing your own toiletries, but it would have been helpful to have hand soap provided in the kitchen and bathrooms.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this home. We especially enjoyed the train ride in Bryson City and dinner at the Jarrett House in Dillsboro.
