Lake Front Log Cabin cerca del monte. Nieve

Personalmente construí esta impresionante casa de troncos hecha a mano en 1998. Cuenta con más de 500 pies de frente en el hermoso y tranquilo lago Sadawga, en la ciudad de Whitingham, ubicado en ocho acres al final de un camino de tierra privado de media milla de largo. Porche de dos lados cubierto, parrilla de gas, mesa con sillas y columpio de aire para relajarse y disfrutar de las vistas del lago. Hay cuatro kayaks para su uso. Gran pesca, senderismo, kayak y la paz y tranquilidad que todos merecemos.

Dentro de la cabaña, hay una chimenea de piedra de piso a techo en la espaciosa y ultra cómoda sala de estar, magníficos pisos de madera de cerezo y arce hechos a mano de los árboles de mi propiedad, cocina completa y baño, y dormitorio con una reina y dos gemelas camas Dormitorio principal loft con bañera de hidromasaje, cama King Size Log y medio baño.

TV vía satélite en la sala de estar y dormitorio tipo loft.
En el interior encontrará dos juegos de puertas francesas triples en la sala de estar que le dan hermosas vistas del lago y las montañas circundantes.

La privacidad abunda al final del camino de tierra, el hogar está rodeado de bosques y agua.

Para sus deportes de invierno, estamos a menos de 30 minutos de esquí excelente en Mt Snow, y tenemos acceso directo al sistema VAST snowmobile trail, justo al lado de la propiedad.

What an incredible property, town and area. If you’re looking to get away for a bit in New England, it’d be hard to beat this place. Absolutely loved it, close to many small towns with great food and shops and views. Will be back again!!

Weekend in Whitingham

Our stay was wonderful at this home. The house was comfortable and very well appointed, especially for people who like to stay in and make meals instead of going out. The kayaks available for use were a great touch, and we enjoyed going out on the lake. The owner was very responsive and even made recommendations on restaurants and area amenities. 10/10 would recommend.

Great weekend away!

This place was magical! Great quiet location. The house had all the amenities you could ask for to stay comfortably. The host was great to communicate with and to make check in and check out smooth. Will be returning soon!

Fantastic experience!

Amazing few days at the lake!

Our visit exceeded our expectations. A beautiful, comfortable home with all the amenities as advertised. My family couldn't get enough kayaking on this very quiet and serene lake. We are grateful the Skrip's shared their home; I couldn't recommend it enough. We'll be back!

Better than expected!

Although we cut our stay short (due to weather), the time we spent at the cabin was better than expected. The pictures did not do this place justice! The cabin is beautiful and just what we needed to get away for the weekend. We’ll definitely book again for a longer stay next time—preferably when the weather is warmer! Communication with our host Bob was very easy, comfortable and helpful!

Amazing lake cabin

Our family of three spend two amazing nights in the cabin. The pictures on the website do not do justice to how beautiful the property is. We rented through VRBO many times in the past both in the US and abroad and this place is very high at the top of the list. Communication and check in were a breeze. Location is superb. We will definitely come back

When I thought about the perfect cabin for a weekend away on a lake in Vermont I thought of many picturesque scenes. Then I arrived here and was completely speechless. Perfect Getaway for Two!

We recently stayed at this charming cabin for a weekend getaway to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and it was perfect! The location on Sadawga Lake in Whitingham, Vermont is precisely what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet, with stunning lake views. We spent countless hours relaxing in the screened-in gazebo, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful scenery without worrying about bugs. The lake is great to explore by kayak, provided by the host, with minimal traffic, a manageable size, and a floating island. Peaceful and relaxing

My family and I (5 adults and a 5 year old) enjoyed this cabin very much. Super clean and we loved the kayaks! It is exactly as the pictures show. One thing we were caught off guard by was that the cabin is the owners second home and many of their belongings occupy the closets and dresser space. The fridge and freezer were also full of food...some from past renters, some theirs. Bob resolved this quickly by having the property manager come by to pick it up so we could put our own food in there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Tranquil Cabin Heaven!

I can’t say enough about our host, Bob, and this property. If you’re looking for a peaceful slice of heaven, this immaculate log cabin is the place. This is the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in and the attention to detail was incredible. The kitchen was super stocked and the furniture was comfortable, we immediately felt at home. The Firepit by the water was so relaxing and the fireplace inside was great to end the day. Thanks to Bob for the wood. Bob was extremely responsive and friendly, a really great host. Small towns were nearby and the drives were pretty. Bob also had two really clean grills with all the tools and a great porch swing for two. All we heard were geese and ducks for 5 days. Bob, thank you and your family for sharing your slice of heaven with others! You offer a really special experience that is tough to find.

Anniversary Retreat

From the moment we arrived we felt the magic. So peaceful we didn’t make it past the rocker on the porch and just sat and soaked in the sun and the breeze and the beautiful lake. Bob the builder picked the perfect spot. We then headed out on the kayaks for a delightful spin around the lake back in time to barbecue and eat appetizers and watch the sunset. Cozy by the fire for dinner and then movie night in the loft….next day sunrise paddle then breakfast on the porch and hiking and exploring the nature preserve and catamounts trails from Harriman to some rest. Some dricing arounf and back fro another enchanted evening. This morning s paddle in among the floating islands rewarded us with cranberries and then over th the preserve where we saw an eagle fishing….truly magical. Cant wait to come back!!!
