We cannot say enough great things about the treehouse and the hosts! The hosts were so proactive and easy to communicate with. The treehouse was exactly as described and off a green run (Hope Slope/chair 3) so it was easy to stop by the house, warm up on the hot tub and hop back on the slopes. It’s also directly off one of the night skiing lifts. Heated floors, cushy robes for everyone, great storage…We’ll be back!

Great place in the summer

We enjoyed the treehouse, especially the hot tub and porch that looks out to the mountain. Very clean and good communication. Planning to come back with our kids.

Girls Trip

The Tamerak Treehouse was the perfect place for a girls trip. We stayed 5 nights total. The host was quick to respond, and made the whole process easy. The tree house was clean and had amenities that made us feel right at home. The view was spectacular, with a cozy living area to enjoy our coffee in the morning, and a glass of wine in the evenings. Being short steps away from the ski slope made it ideal for us, so we didn't have to carry our equipment far. We enjoyed the private hot tub daily. I can't think of anything negative about this place, and we plan to return to the Tamerak Tree house for another trip.

What an amazing place

This is the ultimate ski in/ ski out destination. Everything was immaculate and clean. Everything about the stay was above and beyond our high standards. The host was very responsive, and helped with all of our questions. It’s perched right off the ski run, and has an amazing view. Couldn’t ask for a better place on the mountain!

Perfect treehouse in the woods

What a unique and charming property. Perfect for our family of 4. Spotless when we arrived. Thoughtfully appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds, great views, cool little lookout at the top, quiet and private mornings and evenings with just a 15 min drive to get to town. Walkable access to great hiking and the gondola, convenient to glacier park. Honestly it was a perfect little spot in the woods. We loved it.

Excellent Experience

Cannot say enough about how awesome the stay was at Tamarack. Unique experience on the slope with gorgeous views and wonderful accommodations. The heated floors i in the bathrooms and heated beds were a highlight along with the hot tub and star-lite ceiling in the turret. Highly recommend!

Good times in the treehouse!

We had a great time. The house was very clean and well stocked, beds were super-comfy, and we loved the location. All issues were addressed promptly by management. Looking forward to another stay down the road.

Best Property on The Best Family Friendly Mountain

The perfect “Mountain Getaway!” Whitefish the town is great! The mountain is so family friendly and the SnowBear Tree House is the cherry on top! We had zero issues! Everything was perfect do to the great communication with the owners from start to finish. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Fun in the Trees

Very creative, fun, unique home in the trees - we really enjoyed our stay. First class, very well stocked kitchen. Bring minimal luggage and a small to medium size car. The three treehouse chalets are perfect for a large family to rent together given their proximity and openness to each other. We hope to come back and ski here soon for the convenience of ski in and out! We did hike up the Hope Slope trail to the top and it was great exercise with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, lake, and valley.

Wonderful Trip!

We had such a lovely weekend at the Treehouse (even if it was freezing!). The ski in / ski out location and views were incredible, and Gail gave the best recommendations (private chef, restaurants, and in-house massage therapist). We’ll definitely be back!

MEA Getaway in Whitefish

This was our second time back to Snow Bear Chalets. We had a wonderful time and I can't say enough great things about this property. It truly is like being in a Fairy Tale. We love hiking and exploring the trails of Whitefish, downtown allows for some great eating and drinking opportunities, but we love nothing more than the quietness of this property in the mountains this time of year. It's stunning. Gail is so wonderful to work with and really makes the stay so easy.

Best place to be on the Mountain

The treehouse was everything we wanted and more. From the moment we walked in, we knew this would be a special vacation. The view is amazing, the treehouse is well appointed and the location is fantastic. The landlord was very responsive to communications. We loved our stay and hope to return.

Amazing views

This was a great property for us to stay. We loved our time with the Snow Bear Chalets. Plan for the drive time up the mountain to go to other places in Montana however it was easy to get in and out. We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine or beer watching the night sky. So peaceful. with private views & such.

Anniversary

Surprised my wife with an anniversary trip to montana (we’re from texas) and booked this chalet. What a gorgeous property and fantastic host. Everything turned out to just as advertised! If i can figure out now how to get the whole family here during skiing season, we’d be good to go for the year!!

Stay at Tamarack Chalet - Aug 2019

A very pleasant stay in Tamarack chalet, quiet environment. Bedroom and mezzanine are well designed, as well as the terrace and hot tub. Note : allowing better recycling (glass, plastics) of trash would be a +. Within walking distance of the mountain resort, with several activities available for everyone. Not too far from Glacier NP, a must see as well.

Amazingly luxurious home!

Tamarack is first class! Home is wonderful and furnishings are wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay so much! Whitefish is a very neat area and this home is right in the ski area.
