For the price this stay was a disappointment. The space is cute and well thought out. However there were several things about the stay that were off. Parking: Listed is the description, detail email and dm was a note to park respectfully for the neighbors and to only park in front of the property or empty lot. Upon arrival and again on our second day a vehicle presumably staying on the other side of the property was parked first where we couldn’t park in front of the house without moving the trash bins and second directly in front of the stairs leading to our entrance. Once parked there were dark stairs leading 30 or so feet down and across to the door. As a differently abled person this detail would have been very good to know. Inside we found a rip in the couch and pen markings, black mold in the shower, discolored bath towels and a broken soap dispenser. Most of that we would not be concerned with, but the black mold is an issue. We turned the fan on and wiped it down with hydrogen peroxide to mitigate, but shouldn’t have had to do that. The bedroom walls are THIN. Both nights we heard the other side’s bedtime routine, from showers to peeing to conversations and coughing. It genuinely felt like we were in the same room. In the mornings we could hear singing, conversation (or argument?) and again every time water ran, or a toilet flushed. Nice to have would have been coffee (single serving) to go with the coffee machine. 3-stars, overpriced.
