Nice and cozy stay right across from the Loon Mountain.

We booked this hotel because of it's location for a train trip we had booked. The kids loved the pool. The rooms were large.

Comfortable and quiet. Indoor pool and hot tubs were great. However, the units should supply salt, pepper and sugar.

Office help/check in leaves at 9:00 pm. If you arrive after that then you have to make a phone call and arrange check in. Got a room on the second floor. View was so so. Room had a very old feel to it. If you like more modern, then this is not the place to stay. 2 air conditioners in condo, each with remote control and they worked fine. Refrigerator door does not open all the way because they shoved in next to a wall. The room layout not well planned. Would not stay here again.

We stayed last september for one night for a wedding The place had everything needed. Would definately recommend it.

This place has it all...except ac. Other than that it's a phenomenal experience. Luckily, we didn't need it on our trip as the weather was on the cooler side, but I imagine a week without ac in the july humidity might change my review, so I figured i'd speak to that piece. We will definitely be staying here again.

WONDERFUL LOCATION, EASY ACCESS TO MOUNTAIN. RELIABLE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO LOON. GREAT!!

I'm a single mother with 2 very adventurous boys & this resort was great!! We stayed in a 1BR in loge 4, room 215. It was on the second floor. I didn't see any elevators so I don't think there were any in the other buildings either. The unit could be a bit bigger, but we were fine with it overall. I requested an AC unit a week before our arrival & they were able to accomodate us. I was told they try to save those units for people with medical conditions. I have severe migraines & a cool unit was necessary as the heat can trigger them. They were very helpful with my request. The kitchen was very small, more like a kitchenette. But it has everything you need to cook meals with. The dining area was also part of the living room, open floor plan. My 11 year old son slept in the living room on the pull out sofabed and my 7 year old slept with me in the kind bed in the bedroom. The resort had a very nice safe neighborhood feel to it. The road leading into the resort was a nice small uphill road. It felt like I was entering a private property gated community. You could take leisurely walks around the property and just meet so many different people. Very friendly atmosphere, Picnic tables on the grounds, grills available too. Basketball court & playground there. I allowed my boys to walk to the basketball court by themselves to give them some "independence". I could see them from the balcony at all times.12 tennis courts which you can rent a racket for $2.00. I loved watching my kids play from the balcony. Although I think they enjoyed sweeping the clay courts & cleaning the lines off more than playing. Some people gave them free tennis balls for sweeping their courts off for them. It was funny. They have bike rentals, a dvd store, and 2 game rooms. There are 2 outdoor pools where 1 has a volleyball net and basketball hoop set up. The pools were side by side. Really neat! There are 2 indoor pools also side by side. There was another basketball hoop set up in the larger of the 2. There's 4 jacuzzis and a sauna. 1 jacuzzi is outside & it's open year round. The people at the front desk were very nice, especially the young lady with the blonde hair, she wore them in braids the day we checked in. I wish I remembered her name. Great person! Loon mtn is right across the street. We could see the gondola going up & down the mtn from our balcony. The resort has a great discount for the adventure package for Loon Mtn. It includes a gondola ride, 1 zipline trip, unlimited rockwall climbing, and unlimited bungee trampoline jumping. I will definitely be back to this resort & may even look into timeshare there!! This place must be beautiful in the winter too.

Here we go:The Good - The room was great!!! My family and I were extremely impressed with the accommodations. The room was really clean, spacious, adequately stocked and the kitchen was awesome. We were near everything and the mountain was literally right across the street. This is the place if you are up for a winter getaway. Ski Rental shop right on the premises with great rates. The mountain views were really breath taking. Visit to the Mount Washington Summit was worth the extra 1hr car ride. A true marvel of natural beauty. The Not So Good - Some of the staff at the front desk were not helpful. Housekeeping does not communicate with the front desk. We spent an extra hour waiting for our room b/c housekeeping did not communicate with the front desk about our room being ready. Then the front desk guy leaves for the night?! What was that? Anyway, when we finally went up and the room was great. The second issue is the Towel/Video rental guy. He was the biggest [*], with a major attitude. I tried to rent a movie for my daughter and when I was asking to pay by cash or charge he acted like he couldn't be bothered. It was as if answering questions about his policies was not worth his time and that we were below him and his high stress employment,(got to get those towels fluffed and folded). Bring your own movies folks, all of the rooms have their own DVD players. Save the $4 they charge per movie and bring your own from home. Overall, the hotel accommodations were truly very excellent. However, be prepared to do a lot of the leg work yourself. Don't rely on the staff for anything. I would stay here again just because the room was nice. However, some change to the personnel would be my recommendation. If the Loon Mountain Hotel Management people ever want to discuss this review I would be more than happy to set up a phone conference with them about my experience. Happy New Year Folks!

Very relaxing vacation. We spent a day just relaxing by the pool. Water and facilities were clean. Nice staff.
