Arora Hotel Gatwick

I booked two rooms for my friend and I - the check in staff were very nice and allowed us to check in a few hours early. The best barista in town - Charming Raji served us the most wonderful coffee while we had the Caribbean jerk chicken for lunch before we set off for 4 hours of sightseeing in London. The only minor thing was our rooms were on the rail track side so had trains run every 15 minutes or so waking us up. Next morning the taxi driver that we had reserved was waiting when we checked out to take us to the airport for our flight. All in all a great stay.

A modern hotel with restaurant, bar and convenience shop right in hotel with great access to train station through their back door for trips into London and back to the airport. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable with tips and suggestions but some were a bit difficult to understand or get point across because of accents (not native British citizens for some). Assigned original and when we got to the location a banner attached to the door saying do not enter so returned to main desk and they apologized and then accompanied us to the floor to see sign since maintenance staff had not notified desk of problem. Staff then made sure we inspected the new room to ensure it was suitable while again apologizing profusely for problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel and noticed three different flight crews who use the hotel during their layovers.

I've stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so when the need arises because it's close to Gatwick with easy train ride or use of their economical airport bus shuttle. The restaurant has good offerings and the hotel being in the town Centre gives you access to other conveniences.

I had a wonderful experience enjoyed having a shopping center in walking distance and easy access to train station so I was able to go into London and see the sites as well as Nottingham. Look forward to coming back with my children and other family members.

Great hotel, great experience, easy access to/from national rail... LOVE IT.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff very helpful. Restaurant was fantastic!

2nd time at this hotel. Very nice, Good location hotel. Absolutely loved how quiet, and how clean the room was. Well maintained, really didn't have any major issues, except the following notes; - weekend laundry service would be very helpful. - room cleaning should leave at least one complimentary water bottle when they clean, not just at check in. Would definitely go back/suggest others.

Good hotel but not the most convenient and the staff did not do a good job explaining things. When I arrived at Gatwick, there shuttle was not running. When I called the front desk, they said I could take the train or pay for a cab which I assumed would have had to be done with their shuttle so not a major issue. I elected to take the train and when I asked for more specific information about which train to take, I was given incomplete information. I was also told you could access the hotel from within the train station but it is actually at the back corner of the outside of the station. Who would have ever thought about looking there. After messing around with transportation to the hotel, I burned up nearly an hour. I used another 15 minutes getting connected to the internet because I was not given a code at check in. When i left the next day, I wanted to go out through the "special" door to the train station only to find it locked. I then had to walk back to the front desk to get someone to let me out. Because of these small nuisances and the need to take a shuttle to the hotel, I would probably not go back.

Front desk staff was very helpful. Hotel location is accessibly by train. Our room was clean and beds are comfy.

The hotel is quiet and very convenient. The gym is surprisingly spacious and well maintained.

I wish it was closer to the airport. It's listed as an Airport hotel.

We needed to leave very early but we really enjoyed that small time what we stayed there. Sad that supermarket closes sooo early.

A great one night stay prior to an early flight out of Gatwick. Very accessible to airport via an 8-minute train ride. There is a direct hotel access from the train station - just follow signs leading to the hotel from within the station. There is a button at gate to hotel and the reception desk will buzz you in. When departing, we had to call the reception desk since there was no call button on the other side of gate - I suggest they install one for easy exit.

Confortable, clean, good value. A bit far from Gatwick airport.

Room big enough, comfortable bed and nice staff. Direct access from Train station, which is a plus. Next to Gatwick Airport (two train stops). I would stay there again... in fact, it is my fourth time!! Thanks.

No adapters for electricity. An airport hotel with main target group travelers that are just transiting should have at least electricity adapters available.

This hotel was close to everything dining and shopping Great hotel for the price would come back again

When we arrived at the airport we called the hotel & they immediately sent our driver. Customer service was excellent the entire trip. Our room was beautiful, crisp & room service was exceptional. The hotel is located right next to the train station. We had a wonderful experience.

Great time spent here! Good location and very good value.

Super location and easy to get to. We needed to find someone to steam a wedding gown, etc and the staff hellped us find the right people. We were so impressed with the service and help the staff gave us at the Arora Hotel that when later a lodging in a separate location disappointed one of my family they remembered the Arora and returned to spend a couple more nights.
