Stayed two nights In New Hampshire Inn while visiting Memphis over the Labor Day weekend with my wife. Comfortable stay in the no-frills hotel. Easy access to the highways. Quick check in and check out. The room was well furnished but no coffee maker; similarly no complimentary breakfast in the budget hotel. But satisfied with the stay.
This place wasn't as bad as the one in Dodge City and Stillwater, but it ran a close third. The place is in such a bad neighborhood that the front desk was behind bullet proof glass. Absolutely no amenities. They had a fridge, a microwave and a TV. That was it. The people running the place didn't speak very good English, so were hard to understand. The neighborhood was so bad, trash everywhere, that I didn't take my Service Dog for very long walks while we were there. No one smiled, no one was friendly, it was really depressing. The only good thing about it was, it was within walking distance of a decent restaurant, The Waffle House and it was close to the highway. If you like cheap it's okay.
Visiting Memphis & found this little gem, very easy to get into Memphis & back via car, easy to get to bass pro & car parks in Memphis downtown. Rooms spacious & clean, nice & quiet & run by a lovely hardworking couple. If we ever come to Memphis again we'd definitely stay here
Quick stay before traveling to Hot Springs because it was near the airport. Worst place we've ever stayed. The towels were stained, thin and felt like sand paper. I wouldn't even use them on my car! Room was clean and bathroom marginal. Would not recommend.
Good location off I40. Easy to get to easy back on. Multiple eateries near. Can still slightly hear the traffic. Check in easy, quick. Parking lot small if hotel is filling up you will have to park a few steps away from room but parking lot has great safe lighting. Room was clean big and worth the low-mid rate on a Saturday night. There's a gaming facility near so expect the over flow from that crowd to be your neighbor. Bed comfy, if you like a hard bed, pillows need upgrade to full size. AC unit was not that strong for such a big room but I stayed comfy. My kids and I are on our way home and I didn't want to drive all night so we stopped here and I would do it whoa if needed, I don't mind that they had no pool, no coffee, no breakfast.
Not the best area 10-15 minutes from downtown, rooms were clean, big, well maintained.full kitchen type area but no cutlery which was odd but no problem. Free parking.Good for a quick visit to memphis.
It has a convenient location. The beds were very soft and comfy and the rooms were very clean. The hotel was clean, the staff was extremely nice, and the price was great for the room we got. Great Value. Nice, clean, quiet.
I want to start off by saying how incredibly difficult it is to find a quality Inn at a decent weekly rate anywhere .. especially here in west Memphis /memphis. We arrived looking for a weekly corporate rate as we are here on business, and all we needed was a flat screen TV with an hdmi hook up. This is one of the only reasonable rate establishments that has that. The owners are very very persistent in making this establishment a nice place to stay... they are always available and always cleaning a room/ touching up the building. They have the biggest smiles and the most genuine laughs. Before we leave I will get to know their names. The location isn't the greatest, no special amenities except it does have a mini fridge and microwave and also a pull out couch. The place is very nice and the owners have done a great job remodeling. They have Been extra patient with us even at 10pm and 11pm when we get in from work and have lost our key... several.. several times. House keeping every other day. Bed is very clean. Room is very clean. The mattresses are bug free (I check every time I stay at a new motel/hotel). No stains on anything. The only thing I would say is that it isn't in the greatest area but you cant beat the locatuin directly off of the access road. doesn't matter much to us since we Come here (our home while we are in town) and we go to work. If you are looking for a comfortable and convenient place to lay your head for a night .. or even a week or two.. I would highly recommend the new Hampshire inn!!!!!
Thanks to Trip Advisor reviews we stayed overnight here on way thru town. Clean, great price & the only issue is AC was loud & ineffective. No thrills, not fancy but perfect for a clean safe place. We'd recommend this place to everyone & would stay here again!
I got in fairly early and was assigned room 108. (I had booked through TripAdvisor so that may have also had something to do with the room assignment.) This is actually a 2 room suite complete with two AC units, microwave, fridge, small table with two chairs, sofa, big comfortable bed, nice TV. Quiet with plenty of parking. It was a miserable 100 degrees outside so I turned the ACs on full and 10 minutes later had to reduce them. There was an extra $15 charge for my dog but it was still reasonable. I would give them 5 stars but there was no breakfast, no alarm clock in the room and the ice machine was broken. Would stay with them again.
