Homesteader Lodge is a beautiful property and home, directly on the lake. We loved that it was pet-friendly too!The house had everything we needed, including a wonderful hot tub, just off of the screened in porch. It was too cool for us to use the porch but it would be lovely in warmer weather. The beds were very comfortable and the house was exactly as pictured. Bathrooms were clean, with plenty of hot water. The kitchen had lots of dishes and cookwear, as well as new appliances. One thing I would suggest is picking up your groceries, etc in the towns nearby as there aren’t places close by to shop. Antigonish is about 25 minutes away. This property is very unique, both in design and location and anyone who is lucky enough to stay will truly enjoy their time there.
