Great place to stay in the Blue Mountains

We stayed there for almost 3 weeks and loved it. Everything clean, comfortable and spacious. The nearby highway and railway tracks are noticed very few times a day, if at all, and are more than compensated for by the great and quiet view over the park the home is facing. Very central location when visiting the Blue Mountains.

Comfy Cottage

Simple well equipped hideaway perfect for couples and small family groups. We loved opening up the house to enjoy the garden and bird life with our afternoon drinks. The kitchen is small, but well stocked with appliances and utensils.

Perfect little cabin

We loved our stay at Laurice's property. It has everything you would need for a short stay and the place was sparkling clean when we arrived. The location is excellent, close to Leura and Katoomba. Theres room to run around the house and in the morning you can watch the birds around the birdbath. Definitely recommended!!

Terrible.. Never again !!

Not private and peaceful !! Should state in listing that owner lives within metres from the cottage you can't see in photos listed because they are taken from the houses direction. There were cars driving up and down driveway and owners were cutting down trees and lawns during our stay !! During the night the whole cottage literally shakes from the trains every hour atleast !! The place had a bad smell the moisture in the air and dust made us so congested and allergic. A pillow even had mould on it !! The Bathroom floods when you have a shower the the drains were all blocked and the vanity hot water didn't even work. Disappointed !!

Neat and complete

This is a very thoughtfully appointed cabin with everything you need for a stay in the Blue Mountains As a bonus it has excellent internet and a very nice smart TV in case there is a rainy period. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our kids 7 & 9 loved both the indoors space and the gardens outside. Highly recommended!

Tranquility at its best

The property is just gorgeous . Location is great Private and tranquil. The Decor is beautiful, modern and the fresh smelling linen made the stay even more luxurious.

Absolutely magic

This is a delightful place to stay - beautifully quiet and relaxing. The layout is superb and they have thought of everything you might need whilst you stay. The house itself is a delight from the layout to the artwork to the beautiful windows and light that fills the space. Cannot recommend highly enough

A Welcoming and Comfortable Cottage

We will be back..... It was a wonderful stay even though the weather was not kind.... The cottage is well equipped and easy to access.... It is close to both Leura and Wentworth Falls.... It is a great place for a retreat....

5 star accommodation - Beautifully styled and thoughtfully appointed

We had a wonderful weekend at the Yellow Feather and will absolutely be going back. The location is great - close to Leura but out of the thick of things and surrounded by lovely bush land. Everything we fresh and clean and the furniture comfortable and well chosen.

Everything you could need

From the time we arrived until we left, we didn't want for anything. The little things like cling wrap and olive oil in the fully equipped kitchen makes such a difference when self catering. The cottage was immaculate. And the location is central to everything we wanted to see and do.

Clean, cosy, comfortable

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with lots of privacy. The place was very clean and the host made sure that thr place was very well equipped with kitchen, bathroom and entertaintment supplies. Would highly recommend staying here!
