A different story behind closed doors

pleasant overall stay and enjoyable breakfast but were left unsatisfied by the cleanliness of our room. The underside of the toilet seat had visible urine, the bath had hair which appeared to be pubic or beard hair, and the desk/dressing table area was dusty. The glasses provided were also dirty and I would not have used them to drink from. I was also shocked when a member of staff entered our room, we had been there about 15 minutes. She entered the room holding towels and was clearly alarmed to see us there but there were already towels in our room. She didn’t say a word, stared at us then left taking the towels with her. I’m confused as to why she would need to enter our room when we already had towels, especially after we had already checked in. If as much effort was put in to upkeep and cleaning as in the front lobby and staff it would be much better.

Great location. Nice spacious comfortable room, with great facilities. Large bed with lovely quality bedding. Breakfast buffet excellent fresh selection would recommend was worth the £15. Would stay here again without a doubt. Very easy parking next door to hotel.

Great hotel - let down by the gym/pool

Enjoyed my stay - the room was clean and rooftop bar was fantastic. However, I used the gym/pool in the evening and it needed a good overhaul. There were towels all over the floor in the mens changing rooms and it felt unclean. Apart from that, the rest of the hotel was great.
