Inside was warm and welcoming and had everything you need to self cater as well as information on nice places to visit and dog friendly places to go.We look forward to returning.

Lovely stay at Wagtails. Everything you need for a great stay with your four legged best friend. For the size of the property, it’s a shame there’s not another double bedroom as we normally go away as a group of six! Great local pub & coffee shop. Only one thing, the paddle stair case is a bit difficult, real shame it can’t be changed, but at least there’s an onsuite 👍🏻

We had a lovely time at Wagtails the cottage was excellent only drawback which has nothing to do with the accommodation are the roads which are very narrow and busy being a school nearby the dogs had a lovely time on their walks

Had a lovely few days at Wagtails - the house had everything that we needed, was very comfortable, spacious, and spotless. Enjoyed the hot tub in the lovely big garden, even in the rain. It was lovely watching the birds and wildlife in the garden. My sons enjoyed the games room in the garden, playing pool and table football. The owners were on hand if we needed anything, and were incredibly helpful when we left some property behind. It's set in a quiet little village - we visited the White Post Café just up the lane, beautiful coffee and fabulous smelling food. We would love to return one day.

The accomodation was excellent and very clean; everything has been thought of and I think there were more towels than I own! I couldnt really fault the accomodation. The cottage is literally in the middle of no where, so we didnt venture out on foot (Late October and miserable weather). We werent particuarly comfortbale drivng back down the single track lanes (no lights and no footpaths) so always came back before it got dark. We were caught out a couple of times when trying to order takeaways - as they wouldnt deliver out there! (Which we are not used to as come from a large town) The isolation probably wouldnt have felt so bad if it had been summer time (light nights, nice weather) and the views were lovey and the hot tub had no risk of prying eyes! Like it said the property was lovely.

A very pleasant, fully equipped property in the heart of the Somerset countryside.

A very pleasant, fully equipped property in the heart of the Somerset countryside. The location is remote with only a pub in the village (The Martlet Inn which is very welcoming with good food). If you need anything else the bigger town of Wellington is around 2 miles away. The accommodation sleeps 5 with a main bedroom and two single beds up some stairs which older people might find steep and difficult. There is another sofa bed off the main bedroom. Great shower and all the TV channels you could wish for (Sky Cinema, Sky Sports and Netflix). Has a hot tub but the weather was not that great so we did not use it, and a play room for the children. Taunton is a 20 min drive away with a good array of shops. We had a couple of issues with wasps and a fuse being blown. The fuse issue was resolved very quickly but the wasps were a bit of a pain. Luckily they were very drowsy so it did not spoil our break. However, if they had been livelier it would have been a concern. The hosts are attempting to resolve this but despite having experts in are as yet, unable to find the nest. All in all we would recommend this property for a get away from it all vacation.

Lovely clean cottage perfect for a long weekend getaway. Perfect for a couple with kids as there's a nice indoor and outdoor play area whilst the adults enjoy the hot tub and full sky tv package. The cottage has everything you'll need to hibernate away all weekend. Nice welcome basket, the coffee and cider went down a treat.

This cottage is fab! It has everything you could possibly need for a family with young children. 40 mins from many beaches and activities. No local shop so took our own food. Car useful. Hot tub and garden so lovely. Can’t wait to stay again!

a lovely quiet village (though the roads are terrifying) with a great pub (excellent food). Wagtails is charming , the garden beautiful, and the pheasants very entertaining! The upstairs room is really only for children - low ceilings and a very tricky staircase! A very space age shower... :-) somewhat daunting but fun working it out! Loved the hot tub. We had a very restful stay there.

Wagtails is a well presented cottage in a nice location,the village of Langford Budville has no real amenities other than a pub but the large town of Wellington is only approx 2 mile away with everything you need. The hot tub is a bonus as the garden is a very private location but hope the weather doesnt get too cold as there was no instructions anywhere to be found on how to turn the heating on !!! luckily only 1 cold night for us and the eletric fire in the living room suficed. Overall Wagtails is a great cottage and provided and enjoyable stay.

Lovely peaceful property, with a great picturesque location. Hot tub and games room were a real benefit with children, with plenty of places to walk nearby. Property was spacious and open plan, again, really helpful with a young family. Local pub (Martlet In) served some nice food (although a little expensive). WiFi was a little slow. We would definitely recommend this property.

A fabulous time.

A fabulous time. The idyllic setting was first class with views over the countryside. Wonderful wildlife to observe and so peaceful. Loved our evenings in the hot tub and BBQ’s. Very relaxing break in beautiful surrounding and an excellent host. Thank you.
