Close proximity to Rib Mountain State Park, Nine Mile County Park, Big Eau Pleine County Park, and Marathon County Park, just to name a few. - Granite Peak is located just 8 minutes away and boasts amazing hiking trails, autumn tours and ski slopes.

- Nine Mile Recreation Area is a series of miles and miles of mountain biking and hiking trails as well as cross country skiing in the winter months, located just 15 minutes from the property.

- Ice Age National Scenic Trail runs just 15 minutes from our property.

- Local Badge State Games, including summer and winter activities such as Archery, Alpine Skiing, Billiards, Youth Snowmobiling, Wausau CrossFit Winter, WODfest, Trap Shooting, Nordic Skiing, Snowshoeing, Fat Tire Bike Racing, Youth Hockey (Bantam 1A & 1B), Adult Hockey, Curling, Youth Hockey (Squirt 1A-1B), Archery NASP, Bowling, and Ski Jumping, are held minutes from our Rothschild location.

- Big Eau Pleine Flowage, located just 20 miles SW of Rothschild, offers 2 campgrounds, beginner to intermediate cross-county ski trails, 9 miles of hiking/biking/horseback riding trails, 3 boat landings and a 9-hole disc golf course adjacent to the main campground.
