Parking is available inside a gated driveway for $35/night ............. 7 minute walk to Trader Joe's. Less than 15 minute walk to the Metro/8 min direct ride on the Metro to the Air & Space Museum on the National Mall. We are 200 feet from 16th Street. Walk from the door of the apartment to the front door of the The White House in 25 minutes (1 1/3 miles) straight down 16th. From the corner of our street you can see The White House lit up at night .............. The perfect location for sightseeing... a quiet historic neighborhood yet minutes from everything ................. Our historic street has majestic 100 year old ginkgo trees that all turned a golden yellow at the same time each fall .............. The location was absolutely fantastic, and the apt was perfect for our family of four while we used it as home base to explore our nation's capital. Communication with the host, Ed, was clear, consistent, and easy.One thing of note, and while not negative, there are three apt's at this property, one above, and one below this particular apt. If there are other guests staying at the same time, you will definitely hear them above and below.All in all a great place, location, and experience.

Parking was very easy, convenient, secure, snf family friendly. Loved having a full kitchen for preparing meals and a washer and dryer. This home is in walking distance to many restaurants and Trader Joe’s.
