Very quiet. Easy to get places. Nice staff. Coffee good. Breakfast terrible.

Enjoyed our stay. Did a wonderful job cleaning the room and answering requests. Nice breakfast. Hotel access from the street is a little difficult until you do it the first time and figure it out.

After trolling constantly for 4-star hotel sales and deals, I took a chance on Homewood Suites, mostly based on the high ratings given by other guests. Immediately, it was clear that this was a smart choice. The service at the front desk was unfailingly polite, attentive and efficient. I wanted extra towels and hangers, and with one call, they were delivered inside of 15 minutes. The two-room setup, with living room and separate bedroom, made getting work done easy, especially with another person in the room. The daily breakfast offered hot, cooked eggs and a meat, like Canadian bacon or sausages, as well as cereals, rolls, scones, fruit, yogurts, even make-your-own waffles. The coffee was always on, day and night. When I was leaving, I realized I had badly blistered the back of my foot. I asked the front desk if I could get a bandaid, expecting I would be directed to the nearby drugstore. Instead, the woman on duty went to the hotel's mini-store off the lobby, pulled a package of bandaids, opened it, offering me one, along with the antiseptic gel. No charge. That's better than treatment I have seen at 4-star places nearby. I plan to stay here on future visits.

the hotel is located in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere. The staff gave great suggestions on restaurants in the area. The room was perfect for our family trip. Plenty of space.

Great motel. Food was good. A bit away from the attractions.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and considerate! Beyond describle after hours being stranded for many hours in boston airport.

My family stayed here while I was at a convention. Free breakfast was great and it wasn't far from restaurants, stores and the metro. Getting to it by car can be tricky the first time as it is on a side road, but other than that I'd definitely recommend.

located in teh heart of DC It was a good location....average amenities.Travel in and around the city is simple when you stay at this hotel in Washington, which is close to Ronald Reagan National Airport and Union Station, and just three blocks from the McPherson Square Metro station.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great. The cost for parking your car was $33 per night. So, that was a bit pricey, but otherwise, everything was pretty much perfect.

The hotel is wonderful, the staff are very helpful, very nice, beautiful people. The free breakfast with the reservation is great. One thing the hotel does not have a restaurant, and the closet restaurant is 3 -4 blocks away. Therefore you have to leave the hotel to get lunch and dinner if you don't want what they serve for dinner. I'm not sure if you get dinner everyday except Fri. We received dinner the first day (Thu) but we understood it was a one time thing. I'm not clear on that. Unfortunately we did not stay the 4 days because of Irene(hurricane). Bottom line the room was beautiful, we loved it.

We did a cross-country road-trip to take our child to college. Hotel rooms were scarce, and we ended-up having to pay extra to get a suite because it was the only thing available. When I arrived, I was informed that despite I had requested non-smoking, the room was in fact smoking because that was the only thing available when I reserved the room and there was no other accommodations available. When I went to the room, although the hall way smelt of smoke, the room itself had no trace of smoke. And the extra money I paid for the suite was worth it. The staff was extra generous, polite, and helpful. Furthermore, the complementary hot breakfast, lunch/dinner was wonderful and full of variety. I will stay there every time I go to DC.

When we first arrived the front desk people were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for dinner and other DC sights. However, I do feel that they were short staffed, because after that there always seemed to be people waiting for assistance. The same is true for the valet service. If you are patient and don't mind waiting this is not a big deal. Room was great for my family of five and the mini kitchen very convenient. A wonderful walk to all the DC sights, I thought a good location and nice stay overall. Felt safe in this unfamiliar neighborhood.` Although we knew this, there is no pool, so be prepared on those hot DC summer days.

The hotel was very nice, the staff courteous and very helpful. Comp. breakfast in the morning was great - it was perfect. We stay at Hilton properties often and found that our experience here was no exception - same great service, friendly and helpful staff.

My friends and I were in Washington D.C. to participate in the National Half Marathon race and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The complimentary breakfast was delicious every morning, the rooms were clean and fairly spacious, the location was very convenient, and the hotel staff were friendly, engaging, and more than accommodating! I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Clean.Good location. Nice atmosphere.

The hotel was fantastically located - within walking distance to the White House! They even had a free welcome dinner during the week. It was simple fare, but it also included wine/beer, which was a nice treat. The room was nice, but our room smelled a little smoky. It wasn't so bad for us to complain, but it was somewhat bothersome. The breakfast was also great - a full hot buffet, including fresh-made waffles! The only negative was that the room got pretty crowded so seats were at a premium. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to folks looking to tour the DC area.

helpful staff, free wireless internet, nice complimentary breakfast, room was large enough for some work in the evenings and also for relaxing. kitchenette was nice. great location.

I loved this place. Free breakfast! And it's good. The heating unit in my room was making a strange clicking noise the second night. It started driving me nuts and I was on the fence about calling up and asking for it to be fixed (at 10pm). I didn't want to get another room assigned and I didn't think anyone would be around to fix it. The noise persisted and I couldn't take it so I phoned. Within 5 minutes someone came up to my room and fixed the problem. Great service!

Our room was quite nice and spacious. We stayed on a weeknight and a simole buffet dinner was included. Breakfast was great as well. We would stay here again in a future visit.

Hotel was very clean, very efficient, and the staff were kind. I was impressed with the location as well, right down the street from Dupont Circle. Furthermore, the staff would often hail taxis for the patrons, which is excellent. Lastly, the constant tea or coffee was an excellent touch and the fact that it was almost always hot (except for at 2am for tea, which is understandable). Thanks for a great first experience in DC!!
