Welcome to Lake View Retreat at the Holliday Homesteads darling property! Great Location 18 minutes away from Downtown Wake Forrest under 45 minutes from downtown Raleigh. Nestled along our own private “Swan Lake”, you will feel like you are in your own secret oasis as you enjoy one of the many outdoor seating areas. Nature lovers will be captivated by the diverse wildlife and the soothing sounds of birdsong. We encourage our guests to spend some much-needed time reconnecting with nature and themselves!

THE SPACE:
This home has warmth, color, and character, perfect for those seeking absolute relaxation in an indulgent, welcoming, and romantic environment. You will find your sanctuary away from the tourist crowds and your day-to-day routine here.
The living room is spacious enough to play in and want to stay in. Snuggle up in the cozy blankets and enjoy that movie, book, game, or conversation that you have been wanting to enjoy by the fireplace. A wall of windows brings in an abundance of natural light and the calming effects of the peaceful water right outside.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for daily living and small-scale meal prep. With a full-size refrigerator, stovetop, Keurig coffee maker, and toaster oven, cooking and enjoying meals is a breeze. The space is perfect for preparing simple meals, while the stunning views out the window make even the most routine tasks enjoyable. The peaceful atmosphere will make you feel inspired to cook, whether it’s a quick breakfast or a leisurely dinner.

BEDROOMS:
Lake View Retreat offers 2 lovely bedrooms to choose from, the self-titled “Lake View Room” with a queen bed and the lovely “Magnolia Room” with a full-size bed.
“Lake View Room” as its name suggests, boasts breathtaking views of the lake. Early birds will especially appreciate this room as the golden glow from the rising sun flows into the room. For those of you who are more night owls, don’t worry, we provide thicker curtains to keep the sun at bay until you are ready to take on the day! The restroom for guests to freshen in, is located off the Lake View room.

The “Magnolia Room” has elements of a classic farmhouse style. The large fireplace aesthetic is perfect for the chilly cold days of Fall and Winter. Cozy up in the comfy covers or bundle up in a blanket to enjoy a book in one of the two beautiful Victorian chairs for guests to relax within their room. Don’t forget to enjoy watching the sunset colors over the field through the wall of windows!

Extra Sleeping Space:
The living room offers two seating areas that can be placed together to make a comfortable sleeping arrangement if there are extra guests, roughly the size of a double bed.
We also offer a full-sized inflatable mattress if guests would prefer. (linens and extra pillows provided)

Lake View Retreat is a duplexed home. Please be aware that Lake View Retreat guests have their own private outdoor spaces, parking areas, and entrances to the home but it is a shared property. Please also be aware that the property itself is rural! Guests can expect a country living experience, including wildlife.
