We booked to stay at the best western while we were in Wagga for a medical appointment with our 4 month old baby. The air-conditioner in our room broke at 10.30pm at night so we had to pack up our belongings and our baby and change hotels because there were no rooms left at the best western. We were given a room at a different hotel where we had to wait 30 minutes for the room to cool down enough to put our baby in it. The room couldn’t fit the bassinet next to the bed and the room smelt like smoke. Whilst we can appreciate some things are out of the control of management the lack of remorse or consideration for the impact this had on us and our baby by the management team was incredibly disappointing and disrespectful. We will not be staying at the best western and would not recommend it to anyone after this experience.

We booked this hotel for its restaurant and bar after a long day travelling, both of which are highlighted in the hotels listing photos. When we arrived to check in at 6.15pm, the reception area was locked and no staff were on site. We had to call a number and be given access codes. The restaurant had a sign on the door saying it’s been closed since Feb 2025! The photos in the listing are deceptive. We had to uber to town for dinner. The room was fine, it was comfortable but lack of personal attention because there are no staff and no options for food or drinks really lets this place down. Recommend the hotel updates its photos to accurately reflect what they offer.

Spacious with two rooms like an apartment, well appointed clean, updated and comfortable. A breakfast option would be great but we made do with toast. Big bar fridge to keep supplies and super easy check in and check out. Lovely friendly staff too. Thank you!
