The hotel is in a fine location and the staff is very welcoming and attentive. The rooms are small and cramped, many are oddly shaped too. The bathroom was also small and not great water pressure in the shower. The best part of this property is the 360 degree view from the rooftop restaurant, spectacular. The trees were changing color but the grass on the hills and mountains were still a vibrant pretty. The food in the restaurant was really nice too. We had a large group dinner and everything came out hot and all together, not easy with 14 people. The breakfast offerings were nice also. I would return happily when in the area.

I stayed two nights at the hotel, travelling on business, and it will be certainly a choice, if I am back in the region. Although the lobby area is rather conventional, the rooms are bright, big and stylish, with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast is above standard, served at the top floor, with a panoramic view to the surrounding mountains. A renovation was on at the time of my visit, however the disruption was kept at minimum, with only real problem having been the limited WiFi coverage. But most important, the service was superb, and the staff genuinely polite.

I stayed here for business in October 2017 for 2 nights to attend an exhibition in Friedrichshafen. The hotel is in a good location to the motorway and the views from the restaurant/bar on the 11th floor are lovely. Check in and check out were excellent as was the general helpfulness of all the staff. The hotel has a shopping centre across the road with a range of shops, supermarket and pharmacy. I stayed in room 620 which was a junior suite. Very well equipped room with desk, lounge area and bedroom area. Plenty of charging points + USB. The bathroom was big and probably the biggest bath I have ever used. A coffee machine is provided along with necessities such as toothbrush and toothpaste, razor and gel plus bathroom products and dressing gowns. Free sparkling water was provided in the room. The car park is currently under renovation and only one floor available. I was fortunate the 1st day but the 2nd I had to park in the disabled bay and then move the car later. The hotel has apparently a very nice gym, pool and spa so at peak times the car park is busy. I did not use the gym etc. I did have problems on the first morning trying to exit the car park. On check in I was told I did not need an exit card/ticket and got stuck at the barrier with no buzzer to the hotel! Fortunately a member of the gym let me out. It does seem a bit ludicrous that there was no way to ask for help. I used the restaurant each evening and this is where the hotel is lacking greatly. I purposely booked the Sheraton in the hope that it would best cater for my gluten allergy (I am a coeliac). On the first evening I saw the menu and ordered carpaccio followed by filet steak. The carpaccio was served with a horrible mayonnaise (why ruin such a delicate flavour!) and having told the waiter I was allergic to gluten it was served with two breadsticks on top! The filet steak was lovely but I couldn't have the sauce - no idea why a chef couldn't make a fresh gluten free sauce from scratch though....On the second evening I thought I would have room service only to see that not one single item was gluten free!! I went to the restaurant and had salmon and rice and was also given some warm gluten free bread. Portion sizes were good. Breakfast was excellent although when I asked for gluten free toast, I was told they just had bread. Can the kitchen not put the bread on a clean piece of foil and place it under a grill??? All in all I am pleased I chose this hotel but for what seemed like a health conscious hotel, the kitchen really let it down badly.

It's a nice hotel where all sides are panaromic. It gives great view to mountains and food and service was awesome. It's was a comfortable stay and really like the rooms and view from the top restaurant.

Hotel is bright and airy. Beds great, service is good and trying always to satisfy. The breakfast (tope of the hotel with great views) is good, bar certainly ok. Hotel has a great gym and spa facility with an indoor/ outdoor pool, any exercise equipment piece one might want. 20 min walk into town. Recommended.

Another stay with great experience! Lots of improvements in the way to process and offer the breakfast makes it much more friendly and transparent. The constructions or renovations are still on going which may annoy an it however no disturbance due to noise or so. This time it was only the garage that automatic door kept not working and drove me crazy as I just wanted to leave the hotel and had to park the car again and go back to reception twice before I could leave. Yes, I was late for my appointment :(!

I am still getting over the huge dissapointment that is Sheraton dornbirn. We were so looking forward to staying here and what was meant to be a nice ending to our summer European holiday. We are big fans of the Sheraton chain and this one looked excellent in the photos. After a very hot long drive through the alps we finally arrived and couldn't wait to jump in the outdoor pool. But wait - children aren't allowed in the pool!! Told us the receptionist. That was the not so warm welcome we got. She still asked if we wanted the slippers for the pool area. ?? As if we were going on our own and leaving our 6 year old son behind. Perhaps the suite with alpine view that we booked would cheers us up. Instead for some unknown reason we did get the suite but overlooking busy junction. Is this really happening? I though to myself. The hotel appeared to be empty and they gave us a room without the view??! Still, there was the rooftop bar to look forward to...only to find it empty and the food wasn't available to order until 6! So we ended up eating 3 kilos of nuts to kill our hunger and called it a night. The only good thing about this place is the underground car park. Very handy. But we won't be back. These little things can spoil your entire stay. Also there is nothing to do here unless u r prepared to drive. This hotel has so much potential, they should rethink their strategy and make it more family friendly and perhaps they would get more guests staying there! Sort it out Sheraton!

Very nice hotel. good service and as a hoghlight the pool and the sports facilities. Breakfast overpriced but also very good . Located in exebition area so nothing really to reach in footwalking distance

The hotel is totally ok if you are expecting an airport-style hotel in the middle of an industrial area - views of the car park, the street below, and far beyond that to the surrounding mountains. All of the staff seemed challenged all of the time - difficult to be seated for breakfast, no space in the bar in the evening - and a long wait for absolutely everything, including the bottle of wine that we had ordered to be opened. It was clear that the staff work long hours (the barman at 2am was also the breakfast waiter) so I feel that the management need to put a bit more intelligent thought into running this more efficiently.

We stayed for 1 night at the Sheraton w friends as we were golfing in the area. Our room was one category above standard and huge. Unfortunately it faced the street/ mall side instead of the mountain/ town side. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very big. All furnishing and ambience felt very modern and new. Bathroom only offers products with male scent. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant which offers a mix of Austrian and international food. I had the best Tomato- Mozzarella salad, probably of my life and a Viennese Schnitzel which was good. We also had breakfast which was good. We came in 30 min before it closed and not all food iniially available was offered any more. We wanted to use the spa but learned that on the weekend it closes at 8pm. And really at 8 sharp I was complimented out. The next morning it only opened at 9am, which was too late for us. All in all a conveniently located hotel with modern clean rooms.
