We have two fully equipped rental houses, Molino de Matazorita I (2 - 3 places) and Molino de Matazorita II (6-7 places).

It is an old flour mill of water, from the last century, rehabilitated. It is located on the Matazorita River, at 1.500 meters from the urban center of Barrios de la Vega, and its machinery is still in operation today, helping to provide energy, in an auxiliary way, to the lodgings.

In the mill it is possible to contemplate, even today, the operation of its machinery, as well as the different utensils used in other times for life in it.

The exceptional VILLA ROMANA DE LA OLMEDA is already open to the public, just 5 minutes from our house by car.

Our house has been chosen in 2009 as the BEST RURAL HOUSE in the "I Provincial Contest of Rural Houses of Palencia"
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and a fireplace.

Hemos estado la primera semana de agosto de 2017 en la casa pequeña y ha sido una pasada. Empezando por Juan y Enedina, que están para lo que necesites, te explican todo lo explicable y más y no saben qué hacer por que estés bien, y todo esto sin invadir tu intimidad en ningún momento. Si se busca tranquilidad eso es lo que hay, ni siquiera habiendo niños en la casa grande te enteras de nada. La casa tiene mucho encanto, es genial la terraza del dormitorio, y en cuanto a menaje tiene lo básico como todas las casas rurales, pero si se echa algo en falta sin duda Enedina te presta lo necesario. En pleno agosto la casa es muy fresca, se duerme de cine, y fuera hay un jardín estupendo con mucha sombra. Eso si, no hay que confiarse porque por esta zona sopla el cierzo y por la noche hace falta el jersey. Volveremos sin duda

FANTÁSTICO LUGAR

Hemos pasado en agosto de 2013 una semana en el Molino de Matazorita y nos ha encantado. Es un lugar precioso, tranquilo y muy agradable. Los caseros, Juan y Enedina, son encantadores. Recomendamos muchísimo este lugar pues ha llenado nuestras expectativas.

FABULOSAS VACACIONES DE PASCUA 2011

Somos una familia de San Sebastián con tres niñas y hemos aprovechado los días de vacaciones en la semana de Pascua para recorrer la provincia de Palencia alojándonos en el Molino de Matazorita. Sólo tenemos palabras de alabanza por la hospitalidad y el trato familiar que nos dispensaron Enedina y Juan. Muchas gracias por enseñarnos el molino en funcionamiento y por todo el resto de detalles. La casa está muy bien, y es verdad que te transportas a otra época no tan lejana en que no hacían falta muchas cosas para pasarlo bien. No existen los ruidos, y sólo la paz y la tranquilidad y la música de la naturaleza. Animo pareja y seguid brindando esa hospitalidad al resto de "viajeros" que elijan esta casa rural.

Molino de Matazorita: un lugar donde se degusta intensamente la vida.

Tal vez sería ésta la manera de resumir lo que significa la estancia en un lugar atrapado por la diosa Fortuna. Quizás por ésta razón, ¡hasta los tréboles de cuatro hojas crecen a discreción en su acogedor suelo!. El molino de Matazorita es el resultado de sus gentes: Juan, Enedina y su familia. Para nuestra familia KuanUm!, fue un privilegio poder compartir con ellos su espacio, su historia, su pasado, su tradición y lo que es más importante, la dedicación y cariño que regalan a los visitantes de una manera extraordinariamente natural. A la alegría de Enedina se une, como si se tratara de un “tandem” inseparable, la bondad y sabiduría de Juan, lo que da como resultado una estancia que difícilmente puede olvidarse. Lástima que no pudiéramos permanecer más días por razones de trabajo y así haber podido disfrutar otros buenos momentos a su lado. La excursión en busca de las luciérnagas resultó de una magia muy especial que pudimos compartir con ellos bajo las estrellas. Enedina, Juan, Sonia y Gael, estad seguros de que os llevamos prendidos en el corazón.
