Quality Inn Downtown Inner Harbour

Hotel is in the middle of some little remodeling. But everyone including the remodelers were nice, always had a smile. I will be using this hotel again on my next trip to Victoria, BC.

Good stay...limited parking...no breakfast included

We chose to spend Xmas in Victoria, and decided upon this Quality Inn. Our room had a kitchenette and was plenty big for two adults and two grown-up teens. The bathroom was clean and fairly spacious, and the shower worked very well. Breakfast at the Argyle (restaurant on the premises was excellent) and affordable. Hotel staff were attentive and friendly. Luisa did a great job at the front desk. It was an unusual stay in that all the cleaning staff went on vacation, and the restaurant closed, so it was good we had a kitchenette and were prepared to "rough it" a bit. Staying in Victoria on the 25th is interesting because 95% of shops and restaurants are closed. It would have been nice if the hotel restaurant had been open on the 26th a.m., but the hotel did provide muffins, yoghurt, fruit, and other goodies. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Grey kitchen rug quality towels and bedding. Closet size room too small for a 100lbs 5"2‘person. Dangling electric extension.

We sought an inexpensive hotel near the Inner Harbour. This was better than we imagined - quiet, uncrowded, clean room, guest parking, and an easy walk to all the good stuff. WiFi was spotty at peak hours. We'll go back.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Victoria for my birthday. The hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to everything downtown and the Inner Harbour. It was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were able to check in early when we arrived. Having the mini fridge in the kitchenette in our room was great, also got a discount at the pub connected to the hotel (the food was amazing!) Would definitely stay here again.

This is a gem in the heart of Victoria. Not much from the outside but the congeniality of staff makes the Quality shine.

Great price, very clean and good location, we walked to everything we wanted to see.

Stayed only one nite but found the hotel at great haven. Clean comfy beds (we had two!) with new sheets, new carpet which always nice, pleasant art, drapery and wallpaper all new looking. Room had Ipod dock radio, mini fridge and microwave, along with in-room and lobby coffee. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Victoria. Great bar at the end of the hallway, nice pub downstairs and a Big night club just down the street, The Sticky Wicket, which has 5 clubs in one! The nightclub had a great menu and that's where we ate after the Waterfront Blues on Aug 31st. This hotel is only 2 blocks off the harbour, a 5 min walk. Not having AC which has been mentioned by another reviewer and was not a big deal for us. The hotel supplied an oscillating fan in the closet, and light blocking drapes to help with any heat build-up. We slept with the window open and the slight breeze was all we needed. Glad I didn't let that keep me from this gem... We parked on the street and saved $9... and didn't have to get out early to feed the meter, Monday was a holiday! Nice~

We were on the quiet (off street) side. Perfecto! My husband used the steam bath and pool each morning. The location , GREAT! a couple blocks from the Parliment Building, Museum (IMAX), Empress, Harbor, movie theatres. So many great restaurants. Wonderful walk in through Beacon Hill Park to the Straits with Olympic Mountains. Compfy bed, linens & pillows!Coffee in room a +! The rate was terrific too. I'll go back!

My wife and I traveled to Victoria, BC and stayed in this hotel on recommendation and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The hotel is in easy walking range to everything in downtown Victoria and the rooms were very clean. Parking is $9/night.

This hotel was in a great location and very clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. It was in walking distance to anything we wanted to do and easy to walk to shopping restraunts and fun activities.

The staff was extremely friendly and very cooperative, giving us great information about where to eat for dinner. Our breakfast in the hotel dining room was very good. We were even able to leave our cars in the garage past checkout time while we toured the area before leaving to catch a ferry.

Besides being close to the harbor, which is a plus, this hotel is a kind of old and it was not clean as I would have expected. The room above me was very squeaky and I would hear them walking and dropping things that I wasn't able to sleep.

The location was fair. The hotel overall was disappointing due to not being clean. There was a used towell left in the bathroom and the sheets were very wrinkled and uninviting. There was a lot of noise from individuals outside on the street until the early hours of the morning.

Staff helpful. Great location with good underground parking.

My friend and I visited Victoria for a weekend and spent one night here. More reasonably-priced than a lot of them in the area, just a few blocks from the harbor. I like that it had a hair dryer. An extr a blanket was in the drawer, also, which I used. We did not eat there.

We were so delighted with the location of the Quality Inn in downtown Victoria. We put our car in the underground garage and didn't move it until we left. Everything fun to do is within easy walking distance. The staff was delightful both at the front desk and the dining room. When we checked out we asked if we could leave the car in the garage until our 3:00 ferry and the staff was very nice about it. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. Our room looked out onto a quiet little courtyard with a fountain, and we didn't hear any city noise at all.

The staff were extremely helpful for any request we had, including directions, early check in, toothbrushes, storing luggage while we were out, etc. We had a giant room with 2 beds and a kitchen by paying only about $10 more on Orbitz than a regular room. Crib was free. Rooms were clean and quiet. Our room was on a street but still pretty quiet. The curtains were room darkening for a restful sleep. This hotel is only about a 10 minute walk from the ferry docks and a 5 minute walk from downtown / Government Street. The walk is fun in itself since you'll be passing pleasant upscale shops with wonderful wares. The Empress Hotel is only a 5 minute walk away, and beautiful Beacon Hill Park is only a 10 to 15 minute walk.

A friend and I needed a place near the inner harbor to spend a night. The Quality Inn provides a convenient location, friendly staff, comfortable beds and a reasonable price. No problems.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to respond to our survey. I am so pleased you had a good experience with us. As you said, we do have a limited number of parking spots in our secured, underground parking but most of the time it's not an issue, even when we are full. There is additional parking conveniently located across the street at reasonable rates. Regarding breakfast, it is not included in the rate but we do feel that the 25% discount offered to all our guests provides excellent value for a breakfast of your choice. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to see you back soon. Best regards, Sinisha Ivaz General Manager

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to respond to our survey and for the great comments and suggestions. Christmas in Victoria is always fun with lots of things to do but, as you said, Christmas Day is pretty quiet and that's when a lot of our hotel and restaurant staff take a bit of a breather to be with their families. We tried to make sure that, in the absence of hot/cooked items, we provide a good selection of goodies for breakfast. We do that every year so please let us know if you have any suggestion in this regard. I am very pleased you enjoyed your stay. Thank you again and see you soon! Best regards, Sinisha Ivaz General Manager
