Location and view were incredible!! The walking path at the water edge was still under construction

Room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was large, beautiful and convenient. The balcony was wonderful. Each meal we ate was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A short walk from the Inn to downtown Victoria.

The property outside as well as inside is being remodeled. It was a long walk to get to the property since the better walk was all dug up. Furthermore, the front desk was only a small desk and quite disorganized because of the inside remodel. We could not use the elevator to the wing we were staying in because of the remodel - so had to walk through a cold and ugly stairway to get there. No one apologized for the inconvenience. The hotel "restaurant" was confusing - I guess it was sort of open but not for long and on a limited kitchen.

Enjoyed our stay. Location on harbor is very good.

I loved everything about this hotel. It began at check in with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delaney helped me sort out a mystery whale watching activity we had booked. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food and service were top notch! But our king suite in Erickson Wing was the best. Beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishings, a patio with lounge where we could enjoy our view of the Inner Harbor, fabulous bathroom, and located between the inner Harbor and Fisherman's Wharf with walking paths to get wherever we wanted to go. It all added up to a memorable weekend in Victoria!

Lets start with the positive; the location is good and the hotel room was clean overall. Now the not so good 1. We booked a room through Orbitz that clearly stated "Harbor View", which in my understanding is that from somewhere through the window, you would at the very least be able to see the harbor. That was completely not true. You have to step out, walk 15 paces and then get a glimpse of it. The staff made no offer to set this right, even though we pointed it out to them. They wanted us to pay extra. They mentioned "you paid through third party, so we cant fix this" -basically a penalty for going through Orbitz ! We wanted some room service, but wanted to sit outside and enjoy the sunset while eating. Me to the restaurant desk: " Can I order food through room service " Restaurant Desk : "Oh room service,,, why don't you ask the front desk" Front Desk Person: " why don't you call from your room" Me: I'm sitting outside, I just want a dessert. Can I get some there without having to go back to room and wait there" Front Desk: " Sorry, go to the restaurant" After some convincing, I eventually managed to place the order, but still had to come back to pick it up myself. Oh and they wouldn't take order for what I wanted as it was still 9:15 and that dessert was only available after 10pm... its a dessert sitting in your fridge. They could easily have made it happen if they were so inclined. This was clearly nowhere close to a 4-star hotel service.

A lovely hotel on the harbor, without the price tag of some others. So close to all of the nearby attractions that it is just a few minutes walk, yet enough of a distance that you are away from the bustle. The room was spacious and well cared for. But the attribute that made our visit so memorable was the care and attention of the staff! Highly recommend!

The staff are amazing, making our stay so relaxing The view is one of the best in the world ( we have stayed in many countries) The best place to relax and remember what life is all about.

nice view from the room balcony, and close to downtown..

The Laurel Point is in a stunning location on the Victoria harbour and is the doorstep to exploring in Inner Harbour/James Bay area on foot. If you'd rather just stay in the bar and restaurants are excellent, and even during COVID, they have created a safe way for you to use the pool and gym. Beautiful spot in a beautiful city.

Property is undergoing reno's so many areas are construction zones. There is still a nice venue provided for breakfast & dinner. Service was excellent for both. Only real negative was the accessibility to the tub/shower. It is a lovely deep tub/shower combination but very difficult to get into & out of. Otherwise a beautiful property & great view.
