First night was directly in front of the construction. Thought its was fine but my mother is 93 years old don’t sleep at the first night . I asked if we can move a room that would help my mother to sleep. A front desk gentleman, Kush moved us to a corner room that is quiet and comfortable. After all a great customer service!

Our stay at the DoubleTree was rated high because the two valets were amazing. On arrival they took care of our car and were quick and helpful when we needed anything. The two gentlemen gave excellent recommendations for our stay in Victoria. The hotel was standard, clean and suited our needs. The Starbucks attached was large and convenient with good hours, walking distance to the city centre.

Service was excellent and incredibly fast. Beds and pillows were comfortable and every staff member we encountered was smiling and polite/helpful. The family suite had a massive living area, the pictures don’t lie. We were able to put one teen on the sofa bed and another on an inflatable mattress we purchased (the cot bed was too small)

This location definitely not as great as other ones I stay at Whistler location I love it the reasons one I was giving key cards that did not work, I was provided with new key cards then internet would not work for several hours waited on the phone only to find out they have put me in the wrong room which I suspected up on arrival it was not a one bedroom as I had booked since my daughter was coming on the work trip. There's no pool at this location the washrooms don't have a fan or a switch for fan the heat is set on maximum control by the hotel which was not warm enough as it was raining and cold overall did not like this location every time I have stayed here for work it has been confirmation chateau much better but will definitely stay at the Whistler Hilton as we will be booking there for this weekend Victoria's needs some additional Renovations or perks nothing really to offer the restaurant the food was great
