Vernal Rock Haus
We really enjoyed the land surrounding the house. My oldest daughter spent time in the pergola everyday bird watching. The inside of the house was a great mix of the original style and modern. The party basement is awesome. We also loved the central location near all the adventures we went on.

The Rock Haus was a great spot for our Dinosaur National Monument adventures. Nick was so helpful in local rec’s for food and other places to check out. My kids loved the themes throughout the house and the rocks out back!

Family trip
Beautiful home and grounds. The grandchildren loved chasing grasshoppers, frogs and lizards while the adults relaxed on the couch and watched the fun. We also saw quail and a deer. Nick was a great host and his brother Casey and nephew Zane were very nice. We would love to stay there again.

Fun place to stay!
We loved our stay at the Rock Haus! Plenty if room for 7 of us to sleep and hang out. (Kids, teens and adults) And also each have our own space when needed. We were in a neighborhood, but how the house sits next to the awesome rock mountains, and on its own little street, it felt like we were in our own little world with a herd of deer that bed down in the front yard. This was a great central location to see the Dinosaur National Monument, Moonshine Ach, and Fantasy Canyon.Everything was clean and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and eat with, including some spices. The host is very attentive and quickly answered any questions I had.Check in and check out were super smooth. Our only complaint, is that the water in the showers were a little finicky to find the right temp. But I wouldnt let that stop me from staying again.

Mid-Century modern, cliff-side adventure home!
Our family LOVED our stay in the RockHaus in Vernal, UT!
We (grandparents) brought our daughters/sons-in-law and 4 grandsons out West to tour our amazing National Parks - from VA, we visited family in SLC then traveled up to Bear Lake ID, Jackson/Yellowstone and left Dinosaur National Monument for the pinnacle of fun! Our family fit well in the 3 bedroom, the bunk room was a hit! Our RV and 15 passenger van had no problem parking in the open/expansive driveway areas - and the gazebo overlooking the valley and trail up to rockside with petroglyphs was a memory we will not soon forget! The hosts were so helpful with suggestions for the family (we wish we could have stayed here the whole week!) I do not think we realized that the lower level was still in renovation, and the spiral staircase to that level required our creativity to move a cocktail table and block off our almost 2yr old grandson. The eat-in kitchen fit all of us for dining and card games. My husband appreciated the big TV for catching an Orioles game at the end of a busy day! - We would HIGHLY recommend this home for those considering a Vernal visit - and suggest staying at least for an extended weekend or weeklong visit to be sure to enjoy it even more thoroughly! Thank you RockHaus for the memories!
