San Marco Palace - All Suites

Great location when St Marks Square wasn't flooded (which was twice a day)because accessing hotel was not possible from there without rubber boots(being sold for 10 euros by kids in the square) . Suite rooms were spacious and neat. Breakfast was plentiful, varied, and good. Some hotel staff seemed a little aloof.

Great location but beds are old and uncomfortable and textiles are ragged. Wifi doesn't work. Great spaces for a European hotel but badly needs new beds and updated upholstery. Could definitely be a high four star with new beds and bedding. someone needs to tell hoteliers that by installing 30 dollar repeaters wifi might work!

Hotel was very difficult to find. The Hotel was the Palace Residence not "all suites." People we asked were guessing it was the Palace Residence.

Great location. Superior suite. Very roomy and comfortable. Expensive as everything is in Venice. Should add coffee maker and iron in suite. Water taxi is like the Lexington Ave subway during the rush hour.

it is not hotel ! more like a rented appartement with service . no way a 4 star hotel.

The hotel layout was initially confusing but once you learned it, it was easy. The staff was freindly. The room was exceptional for Europe at that price range. Beautifully decorated, spacious, and clean. The only thing we did not like was that the bed was VERY firm and not comfortable if you are used to sleeping on a soft mattress. The location was excellent, only steps away from St Marks Square. Overall we give the hotel a 4 out of 5. Breakfast WAS NOT INCLUDED.

God location and very nice rooms.

The suite was beyond our expectations. It was bright and pretty with plenty of room for the four of us. The location was perfect, in the heart of St. Marcos Square. I would definately stay there again.

We were very pleased with the room we had in our suite. I was travelling with my daughter and it was nice to have our own space. As we were there in July with high temperatures and humidity, the air conditioning was very welcome.

If Venice didn't have the canals I would NOT spend any time or money there ever again., what a bunch of HAND ME DOWN type of life bad service everywhere., and you absolutely have NO CHOICE it's the same all over.

The location is IDEAL w/numerous fine restaurants within a stone's throw as well as public transportation.
