A lovely hotel with friendly and accommodating staff Easy access to Venice via train (3 Euros) Free shuttle bus both to / from hotel Breakfast was a delight. The dining room looking out onto the gardens are fantastic. Large airy rooms. Very clean. Lovely large shower with huge soft bath sheets.
This place is beyond what i am expecting. Its a home away from home. The room is very spacious, spotless clean, very quite neighborhood and the breakfast is awesome the setting for the breakfast buffet is by the lawn where peacocks roam around its just so relaxing and the staff went beyond their service. Ms. Barbara helped us all the way through our trip from booking and the time we left the hotel. Ms. Francesca is so helpful and always there when u need her. Mr. Delano although he’s so busy attending everybody from serving breakfast, driving us to the train station still you will see that sweet smile on his face. And shout out for Agnese who works so hard who’s always there when u need her and always smiling even though she works the whole day. The staff is so kind that I cannot find words to describe them. Excellent service on everything.. and will definitely come back. Venice is only 20 minutes away by train and the train station is only 7 minutes away from the hotel.
Great hotel, great staff, great location! Close to highway; easy commute to Marco Polo Airport. True four star hotel - fantastic breakfast. Staff at front desk speak good English and are also very helpful in providing valuable travel tips. Service was a 5 out of 5. Rooms are very big and clean for European standards. Ours had a balcony. Half hour by train to Venice. Free parking at the train station. From hotel you are about 10 minutes max to train station by car.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. Friendly staff who were very accommodating. Amazing shuttle service to and from the station. Very clean and modern rooms. WiFi available for free within the hotel Breakfast was good with a variety of options.
Very nice setting for a very quiet visit, plenty to see if you have a car, there is also the train station not to far from the hotel and a shuttle service (3 euros per person return by hotel) the return train journey into Venice is direct and tickets can be bought at the station 14 euros return for two people and well worth the visit Venice was beautiful. The hotel is nice middling class, we booked a luxury room, but this is only a deluxe room with extras I.e. a bottle of wine or fruit and dressing gown and slippers, so don't pay the extra unless that is important to you, also be careful when looking at pictures if you like a bath, make sure you make a special request as you will only have a shower if you don't. We were told to ask if there were any requests but there was no help with this, we were told the hotel was sold out and no rooms with a bath were available, even though I informed clerk on reception desk I would pay for an upgrade. I also went onto Expedia and rooms were still available, but in fairness they show a bath, but did not say a room including one was available as pics on Expedia are not a true reflection of what you receive when booking a luxury room. In the luxury rooms it also states there is a coffee/tea maker, this is definitely not the case unless you count a kettle, T-bags and some Nescafé coffee satchets which are not replaced unless requested. The room itself is clean and attractive, but the lighting is very poor for ladies putting on makeup, I had to use the ironing room in the hotel where the light was bright enough to see what I was doing, other rooms may be better, we were in room 115. Overall visit ok, Venice lovely, hotel mediocre, next time we visit we will stay in the Mestre or Venice itself.
Structures are just that, structures. Wood, metal and fabrics. Most Hotels and "Inns" share the same types of features. What really separates one place from another is the feeling one has while being there. All things being equal with the structures people make the most critical deference between one place and another. Once in a while you find a business that you just want to do well. You want these people that go above and beyond day after day to be successful and feel good being a part of that happening for them. People that truly care about their guests can be incredibly rare except here. Here you are made to feel not only comfortable but also appreciated and that's not very common these days. We will go out of our way to stay here for the location, value, comfort, but mostly for how we are made to feel while we are here.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The hotel is immaculate and you can see the money gone into building it. I loved the well presented garden with gorgeous greenery and attention to detail. The pool is really peaceful and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is 7:00-10:30am which was great. We loved seeing the peacocks in the garden every morning and throughout the day. The breakfast also offers cereal, fruit, bacon, toast, cake etc and had lots of choice. My Mum was bitten around 12 times so I'd recommend bringing repellent. I wasn't bitten once though! There is a bargain store next door which meant we could get cheap snacks and drinks and store them in the hotel room fridge. There is a really great booklet in the rooms which tell you the whole menu and pricing of the hotel restaurant (which is very well priced, not expensive), what is nearby in Quarto D'Altino, other places of interest which are a car journey away and the menu of restaurant Odino. It also tells you the train times to and from Venice and shuttle times to the train station from the hotel. It was fantastic having a 1.50 euro shuttle to the train station (per person, person way). Although the hotel offers a €60 shuttle to Jesolo Beach, we opted for a bus which was €14 for 2 people, both ways, from the bus stop about 5 minutes away from the hotel. The location was perfect for visiting Venice, without the hefty cost of staying in the City of Venice. Highly recommend!
Stayed here before flying home from Marco Polo (11 miles away). It's situated in some grounds just off the main road / roundabout in a fairly industrial area. We booked a standard room which was really spacious but dated. The bathroom particularly was with a very old, with a barely working shower and there was a lot of mould. When booking it wasn't much more in price to book a better room (deluxe I think) and these look much better. Would strongly recommend doing this. We had a sizeable balcony but didn't get the opportunity to use. We had a drink on arrival, the bar is tiny but there's a couple of tables outside the entrance to the hotel which the kind bar man suggested we do and took out our drinks and crisps out for us and lit a candle. We then went to eat dinner - we were advised earlier we could have a bar meal at the hotel but when we went to eat the receptionist seemed to strongly suggest going elsewhere ? Odini (the hotel restaurant next door), pieros (a nearby pizza place) or going out in the car. As I said it's on a main road so we didn't fancy walking far so we went to Odino. Odino is a really nice, upmarket restaurant with good service etc. It's a predominantly seafood restaurant with a couple of meat options. Despite it being a lovely place with good, friendly service, the food I found bland. It's also expensive (defeating point of staying in budget hotel ?) In hindsight the hotel bar would not have been a good option however - just a few tables and no windows etc. Better atmosphere at Odino. Breakfast was pleasant - it's a nice room Overlooking the pretty garden. There was a good selection of items. The coffee was ok, but tasted a bit instant. I wouldn't suggest staying here for a long time due to the lack of dining options in the area but it certainly is a cheap base for a couple of days. I would maybe eat whilst out and bring back a bottle to have on your balcony. We got an incredibly cheap price last minute which was a fair price.
I have mixed feelings writing the review. From one side you get decent breakfast and the staff is extremely friendly. On the downside you get a room where there is no possibility to set AC correctly. Either you feel to much heat when you set it at 25 degrees or it is freezing cold at 24. Finally you open the balcony window and do not use the AC at all. Also the bathroom requires some renovation, from a 4 star hotel I would expect no black mold under the shower, especially a hotel for €140 per night. A day later I stayed in a 3 star hotel in a center of Vienna that was cleaner, nicer with a better breakfast, everything just for €70. The hotel offers bikes to rent, but there are neither bikes for children nor child seats. When we wanted to rent a bike just one was available.
If you're looking for somewhere close to Marco Polo Airport, secluded, but with Venice reachable without too much issue then Park Hotel Junior is a great choice. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a good sized balcony. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and spoke excellent English. They arranged airport transfers (although this is by taxi), and transfers to and from the local station to get to Venice. This is done by the hotel and is only a couple of euros per person. The breakfast was the standard fair of hot and cold food buffet. The bar menu had the usual things, and we did have their lovely homemade pizza.
