Old charm and hotel location. Windows open for fresh air. Our room looked out to the gondolas.

Great location, great staff, will stay there again

Close to St. Marks. We took the ferry and paid a porter to bring our bags to the hotel. 20 Euro and it was certainly worth the money because who wants to lug their stuff through St. Marks and up/down stairs. We got to the hotel early and our room was ready within 20 mins. The room was spacious and bigger than expected. Great balcony view of the Gondolas. Shower pressure was phenomenal. Most hotels have terrible pressure but this was strong and the water was warm. Breakfast selection was plentiful. You can get a gondola ride from the rear patio of the hotel which was really nice. It cost 110 euro. Staff could be friendlier but that Europe for you. Overall great stay and would recommend.

So old and poor the building and poor service in the breakfast.

Camille in customer service is the best!!! I booked this hotel for my son and nephew and I kept in contact with Camille from California and she guided me until they got to their hotel quick and safe!! The location is amazing as well!!

The aircondtioner to my room was brokrn, I reveived a small fan during my stay

Location is the best, staff were excellent, very clean hotel, would stay again...

Hotel is very old, dark and gloomy. Decor, carpet and furniture are very old, rooms has very poor light. Location is central but hard to find and lot of steps to climb.

Hotel overlooks the canal; but our room does not.

Thank you so much for making my stay in venezia so special. It was my mom's first trip to italia and she could not believe how genuinely nice every one is. Thank you

Great location. The staff was very helpful and nice.

My daughter and I showed up to discover that they had reserved a room with only one bed for us. The desk clerk was very gracious about switching g us into a room with two beds. The breakfast was good. The bar was great. The best thing was the view onto an area of the canal where the gondolas were staged. Super cool!

Great location, decent breakfast, old but clean, staff are helpful

Hotel is well located, near St Mark's square, clean. Rooms near the elevator not recommended due to the noise from elevator. Our room was changed on request and the room away from elevator was great.

The hotel is in two sections. Upon arrival with luggage, you take the elevator up to 2A, then go down a few steps, along a short hall and up three flights of steps. There is no elevator on one side of the hotel. The bathroom smelled bad and was cold. This is an affordable hotel and it has a great location but is not a very good facility.

The hotel was like a maze in terms of locating rooms. The dining room was too small for the size of the hotel and breakfast average. There appeared to be very few staff working as it was difficult to locate staff to order drinks in the hotel lounge.

We made our reservation the day before, at a discounted rate, and everything went very smoothly. The room was ready prior to our 1400 hrs check-in which allowed us time to relax and enjoy a cool drink on the cozy little patio overlooking the picturesque gondola queue. Our next two days were spent seeing everything in and around St. Mark's square and Murano. The hotel's reciprocal relationship with the Murano glass works, which included round trip taxi, was especially noteworthy.

Nice hotel on a canal. Near St. Mark Square. Venice is a very interest place to visit.
