Checked into the hotel and it seemed like it was going to be a nice stay. Got to the room and turned the A/C on because it was a bit warm. A/C made noise the entire night - every 10 mins for about 3-5 minutes it just rattled and clanked. The shower had no pressure at all, which didn't help either. Complained to the front desk the next day and was told they were sold out and that all the A/C units made the same noise. Spoke to a couple of other guests while in the elevator (different times) and neither of them had any kind of noises coming from their A/C. Next day, I complained again, only this time there was also a spider in my room. Person at the front desk again said they were sold out and this time offered to send maintenance up. Not sure if maintenance ever showed because I was at work, but there was definitely no change and from what it looks like, the spider was still sharing the room with me. Upon check-out, I complained again because I stayed there for 3 nights and couldn't get any sleep because of the constant noise (needed the A/C to sleep because the room was warm and there were no fans). Person at the front desk just smiled and said "Oh, that sucks. All the rooms have noisy A/Cs". Informed her that I knew this was incorrect and she basically just shrugged her shoulders while basically smiling. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Older facility but clean with rooms being a suite with separate sleeping area. Have an above average complimentary breakfast and is a gluten free lovers paradise.

The location to wait for the ferry the next morning was very good. Not much for restaurants near by. The restaurant at the hotel was very good, however. The rooms are in need of refurbishment but were pretty clean. The rooms were dark as were the hallways. The bed was very comfortable.

It is out of the way but near the ferry to Victoria. One bus gets you to the skytrain and downtown in about 60 minutes. 711, fast food and pub close by. We were faced with $400 rooms downtown and went with the commute and 75 savings instead.

Construction right outside, which made the little deck useless. Then at night, the noisiest A/C unit I've every heard. Fortunately the bed was comfy, shower was warm, towels plentiful. The breakfast was also OK. I would ask for a quieter room if I were staying there again.
