Living Valencia Edificio Merced

Location of this apartment is great. Close to restaurants, attractions and shopping. It is however in a pedestrian zone, and not possible to park or drive to the apartment's door. If you have both car and lots of luggage it will be difficult to handle. Apartment is like renting from Airbnb (we booked it on hotels.com). There are no services included/offered. No cleaning, no housekeeping, no change of towels. We had to beg for extra toilet paper, and they refused to change towels because we only stayed at the apartment for 5 days/4 Nights. We had to wash the towels 2 by 2 and share towels, because we did not have enough dry and clean towels. Apartment was old and bathroom still dirty. Water heater also too small for a Family. 80 litre water heater is too small and slow/old, and we had to split up shower sessions: 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. Elevator is small, old and very slow. Public parking 10 minutes by walk from apartment. We paid 16,8€ per day. All in all, perfect location. But standard, service and amenities unfortunately below average.

We stayed a week in the Jardin del Turia apartments of living València. With the beautiful gardens right at our doorstep and the old city in our backyard, this was a great location. It really felt that we where living in València. We had our own kitchenette with washing machine. We arrived after 8 pm and took the shuttle service straight to our apartment. Our taxi driver had the key in an envelope which also included a map of València and a nice welcome letter. Our check in was the next day. Nice and easy. Very friendly staff. During our stay we got one cleaning of the apartment, scheduled conveniently to our liking. The only bad thing about our great apartment was our bed. It was horrible, to small and to hard. Other than that we had a great time in our own home away from home.

The apartment was exactly as described. Very spacious, the kitchen is very well equipped with anything you need. The bed was comfy and the bathroom had everything we needed. This place deserves the 4,5 stars it has. We will comeback here when we will have the chance and i will always recommend it to anyone.

We stayed three nights at Living Valencia Edificio Merced and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was in a great location next to the Mercato Central and close to lots of restaurants and most attractions. Check in was easy and the apartment very comfortable and clean with excellent facilities including ducted air conditioning. Solid wooden shutters kept street noise to a minimum and apart from a bit of sag in our bed we had no complaints. We would certainly stay there again if visiting Valencia

Very good location, near to many attractions of the city. Quite. The greatest market of Valencia is near to the apartment. The kitchen is very good equipped. Good internet connection. Friendly and helpfully staff. The only bad part was that the second bad for children was not very comfortable.

The apartment is very close to the Mercato Centro and from there access to the old centre of Valencia. Also very close is the train station. The apartment is very spacious and well equiped. Apartments are available on a number of levels (and there is a lift) and assistance and advice can be found from a very helpful team on the first floor. A good place to stay.

We enjoyed very much the stay in Living Apart, so close to Mercat Central ( 1 min). You can reach all major sights in 5-10 minutes, walking. Very clean, equipped with everything you may need, space very well delimited.

I highly recommend this Ap[artment when you are in Valencia. The location is central and is close to nearly all the sightseeing points in the Old City. For the rest, Metro is enough. The room is small but is cosily decorated. The bed is extremely comfortable. But this is an apartment for two people only. If you have more than two, then you would have to lie on the ground as the sofa is unsuitable for a good night's sleep. The corridor is longish and there isn't much space to move about. The kitchen is supplied with all the necessary items and the bathrooms are well maintained. However in spite of these small shotcomings, I would still recommend the place due to its location and the price.

I had a very good staying. The apartment is very good located. A lot of sights can be easily reached by food. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. It was clean and the guys very kind. (Speaking English was helpful for me)

Very spacious. Totally central- you can practically reach out and touch the Central Market from the doorstep, which incidentally is well worth visiting, (go earlyish, closes about 3.30). The apartment is also situated a few minutes walk from the old part of town and the Cathedral. Great little winding streets and bars, loads of good restaurants. Definitely find time to visit 'Round Square', Plaza Redondo. More great shops and bars. To the right of the market buildings, in Plaza Mercado, near the Silk Market, worth a visit, is a lovely shop selling products of the region, and a great place to pick up some wine. A few doors down is a wonderful bread shop/cafe (Panaria??) which sells take-away tortilla etc. Also has wifi and a great place to have breakfast. (Many places have wifi, but don't advertise on the window- always worth asking). Salome, in reception, is very helpful and speaks excellent English. My room was room 6 on the top floor ( there is a lift), and apart from the fake leather sofa I wouldn't change a thing. Will definitely come back. Ps take the metro/tram to the beaches, wonderful to walk along out if season, and the port area is fascinating if a bit sad now that things have moved on.
