Large enough room for two, small kitchen included (if needed), large bathroom and very quiet. Very warm personal and ready to give a hand no matter. Rooms near the elevator are not the very best, but apart of this all goes perfectly in this hotel. I'd go there again next time in Paris:)
This is our favorite hotel in Paris, nice environment with convenient stores and restaurants around. The staffs were always nice and helpful, especially Jonathon who helped us one night. Thanks a lot! The sofa-bed is the most comfortable one. Everything in the room was nice. We will certainly come and stay here again when we visit Paris.
I stayed here with a group of friends over the weekend of the semi marathon in March and its my second visit here. the location was ideal for what we wanted .. just 10 min walk to start and finish line - perfect! the hotel its self is spotlessly clean and delightful. breakfast was nothing fancy but adequate for the price we paid. would absolutely recommend this hotel and hope to stay again in the future.
We are a repeat customers with this hotel. We use it for the Paris Half-Marathon as the location is perfect. From here the event is close. Plus it is right on the #4 metro line with easy access to down town. And there are great restaurants within walking distance. As for the hotel itself, the service was fantastic, rooms were clean and a little small but workable, the beds ok, but needed more towels in the bathroom. Well stocked kitchenette with a mini dishwasher. I recommend this place but manage your expectations.
This a very good place to stay. I stayed 12 nights and found it a great place to come back to and relax after a day out in Paris. Front desk staff were very personable and willing to answer any questions that I had. The room was a bit larger than most hotel rooms and having the kitchenette was really handy. The bathroom is much larger than any I've stayed in a Paris hotel. This hotel like many of the Adagio properties is very secure. You need to use your card key to get into the lobby door. Again use it to get your floor. It's outside of Paris and the metro is handy. I used the metro a lot as it was the main line through Paris. It does mean a lot of stairs to traverse when you go to change to another line. It wasn't until the last few days that I found the RER station two blocks north was easier to use and took you to stations that were even a bit more central.
A Nice place to stay for few days to visit Paris! 5 metro stations to the center. You can have small meals at home and save some money! Nice staff, helpful and sympathetic. One apartment can take 4 persons, 2 in the bedroom and other 2 in sofa bed.
Loved Paris and this hotel so much we're planning a return trip!! Very friendly, multi-lingual staff was a big help throughout our stay and especially at check-in, honoring our request for a quiet room on an upper floor. Our room faced an alley way and was very quiet, we never heard noise from outside and only occasionally from other guests (and never voices, just perhaps moving a chair). We used the laundry facilities once and they worked well, though it did take me a bit of time to figure the system out. The business center worked well and there were very helpful maps and brochures in the lobby as well. The room was large by European standards, as was the bathroom. We *loved* the little kitchen area as it allowed us to have breakfast each day in our room, especially convenient on days were we had an early start as well as an economical option for one meal of the day. The beds were comfortable and the thermostat adjustable to our tastes. Housekeeping came through once and did an excellent job, and we had little trouble keeping the room clean in the days prior. In retrospect I would have scheduled housekeeping more towards the middle of our stay instead of closer to the end, but we were out and about so much it didn't make that much of a difference. The neighborhood in which the hotel is located is somewhat nondescript but safe, we never felt concerned for our safety even returning after dark most nights. There is a grocery store maybe a 2 minute walk from the hotel, where we stocked up on breakfast items as well as snacks and other sundries. Just past the grocery store is a Metro station where you can purchase tickets in addition to boarding a train (Line 1). We loved being on Line 1, as it takes you through the very center of the city, with stops near many of the major tourist attractions, such as the Lourve. Despite not being technically in Paris, we never felt that we were more than 10-15 minutes away from anything we wanted to see, thanks to being on this particular metro line. Despite leaving and returning to the hotel at varying hours over more than a week, we never had to wait more than 5-7 minutes for a train in either direction. The hotel is also very close to the RER A line, which can get you to Disneyland Paris, or to the other RER lines as needed. There is a bank nearby, as well as some informal dining options close to the Chateau. We cannot comment on attractions in Vincennes as we were in Paris most of our time, but the hotel is very close to many of them, as well as a transit center for buses. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a wonderful alternative to staying in the more expense areas within Paris proper. We will definitely be back come future trips!
Welcome was great, underground parking is very secure. Marine, the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. Rooms are studio apartments, we had a double room with the bed folding out from the wall; the other room we had was a twin with normal beds. Bathrooms, TV, kitchen, wifi were all excellent. Location is excellent, short walks to Metro and RER, lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Vincennes is an excellent location, providing good access to central Paris and Disney. We've stayed in a few places near Disney and this is by far the best; feeling of an upmarket district not some of the edgier places further out.
Some travelers, perhaps especially first timers, may prefer being closer to the center of Paris, but I liked this location. RER A was close, and Metro line 1--even closer--could get me to Hotel de Ville in 15 minutes or so. I liked the feel of the neighborhood--and found plenty of opportunities for eating and shopping nearby. Hotel has been recently renovated, room was quiet, kitchen was In good shape, bed was comfortable, and staff was friendly. There seemed to always be an English speaker available if I had questions.
We travel quite a bit, usually finding time to be in Paris. Our first reservation is made with Adagio Aparthotel Vincennes. Don't let the fact that it is located outside the city center in the Vincennes neighborhood deter you! It is located about 1 block from the Metro Line 1 that takes you straight into the city center of Paris. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, a quite adequate kitchen area and spacious bathrooms...plus a self-laundry, gym, and business center! You can also purchase breakfast if you choose. The Vincennes area is a lovely place to stroll around, eat at the cafes', shop, visit the castle, and the beautiful Parc Floral is just a few blocks away. It has all of the charm of Paris central without the crowds and bustle. You will return time and time again!
