We were sent scurrying to Tuscaloosa by Hurricane Irma. No rooms were to be found thanks to Irma and the first home game of Alabama football! But the Jack Warner opened up their arms and Inn for us! In a woodsy quiet setting. Helpful and warm staff. If we weren't so preoccupied with what Irma was doing to our home back in Florida, it would have been the perfect couples retreat! So happy to have discovered this paradise. Explore the trails. You won't be sorry!

Our rooms carpet had chunks of mud on it and a layer of dust covered the entertainment center. The smell of mustiness was rampant through out the hotel. The hotel was located in a beautiful area but it greatly needs an overhaul and maintenance.

Staff was pleasant and quick to assist with any questions, needs and/or accommodations. I will be visiting/staying on future trips to Tuscaloosa. Recommended to several friends also visiting in Tuscaloosa at same time for future trips.

The hotel management and the room are really nice. I'm glad I stayed here and will be back again. It's about 20 minutes from the University and uber does operate to the hotel and were quite fast. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good hotel. Very clean. Stayed 1 night - it's fine - just needs to update the furnishings. They reminded me of a hotel back in the 70's. It is in a nice area of Tuscaloosa, about 10-15 min from campus. I would stay here again. Just would like to see some updating before it would become my 1st choice.

This is not a boutique hotel. There are No amenities at this hotel and there is zero customer service. The beds seemed to be on a slant. The fitted sheets didn't fit and came off the bed. Kleenex was not replenished. Rooms extremely dark and damp.

The beds were soft and comfortable. The rooms was good sized and the roof line was very visually interesting. The TV was too small for the space. The furnishing, carpets and the hotel itself is in need of a makeover. It is a beautiful spot and could be amazing. Also, not a big deal but worth noting, there were no plates or cups for our breakfast. The food was fine.

Was referred to this hotel while on a plane from LAX to IAD from a passenger who began a conversation about Alabama football. I let him know that I had business in the area and he strongly recommended The Jack Warner Retreat-wow-gracious hospitality in such a relaxing and wooded environment.

If you need someplace peaceful, calm, and nice to stay while moving in your student to the University of Alabama....consider staying here. The staff and amenities will help you deal with all the stress! Highly recommend!

My wife and I just had our daughter's wedding at the Northriver Yacht club with guests staying at the Jack Warner Inn. It truly was the perfect wedding destination. The hotel, while not 5 star is very nice and uniquely designed and decorated. The rooms are large and updated. The hotel is 150 feet from the Yacht Club, where we held the rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception. It is a very easy walk, even while wearing a tux in August. There is also high quality golf on property as well as a huge swimming pool ($10 extra). There are plenty of places to take long walks and all of the nice restaurants in Tuscaloosa are only 15 minutes away. The younger staff members need better training and to be reminded that the customer is always right :), and they need to have a local AC repair company vs. one in Birmingham (nothing serious, but the bridesmaids AC wasn't working and the staff refused to call for help for 4 hours). Overall, we loved it and would highly recommend it for a wedding weekend.
