You see some periodical rush hours depending on the schedules of the ships leaving and arriving to Turku harbor. Not too cozy as a bar but it's conveniently close to them sailing bars. Haven't spent a night here as it is not actually the point of my trips. Should be good enough if you are not living in Southern Finland where you get by the train leaving just 100 m from the door OR not going to the cruise ship.

Pros: - Good location: just a few minutes walk from Turku Castle and about 20min walk, by the river, to downtown. - Great breakfast with traditional meatballs, finnish rice porridge, rice toasts... Quality & variety of food, both warm and cold. - Playing area for kids & amusement zone for adults (snooker, slot machines...). - The building is an old fish market. - Free private parking. - Kettle & Free coffee/tea. Cons: - A bit noisy. - Cleaning is poor, a lot of dust. - No elevator so you'll have to carry your luggage upstairs. - Rooms are tiny and low ceilings, so if you're tall you may suffer one or two encounters with the ceiling. - Bathroom has to be updated asap. In general this hotel is a good option: not expensive and, although it can improve much, it gives good quality/service.

This is right next to the Silja Ferry dock, if you get there early, this is a handy place to sip a pint, have a meal or if you are like me, get out of the rain! The food was pretty good (I had crayfish on a toasted piece of bread, As a cajun food enthusiast, it was good, the mudbugs were pretty big (already peeled) and tasty, not very spicy though.

We had a nice stay here and the room was quiet and with good space. The floor in the bathroom was wet when we arrived. When we wanted to send postcards the staff was very welcoming and helped us. The breakfast was tasty and good.

Right next to the harbor hotel! Clean rooms, good breakfast and big parking area. Bus left just near to hotel so you can drive city center easy. The hotel is not cheap so you can also go on an evening boat and be in the morning in Stockholm.

I stayed there on 12 May 2017. I chose this hotel mainly for its location, which is next to the Viking Line Terminal and the Line No.1 bus stop to the Market Square. It's also a 5-minute walk to the Turku Castle, which is the best museum I visited in Finland. The area outside the hotel was generally quiet, except when a cruise arrived at the cruise terminal. I dunno if there is lift in the hotel, but the staff just told me to use the main staircase. I found it rather inconvenient since I carried a suitcase. My room was on the 2nd floor with small windows overseeing the Viking Cruise Terminal. There is a lobby with sofas and a snooker bench in front of the corridor to the rooms. I could hear people talking loudly there when I was inside my room. The keys were punched cards. I've never used this kind of keys before. The room was very basic. All the furnishings needed renovation. It gave me an impression of those simple guesthouses of the communist countries in the 1970s. The breakfast was simple with not much choices while the breakfast area was also quite crowded at about 8-9 am. I would recommend this hotel for its location if you arrive late in the evening by Viking Line's cruise.

Hotel is Turku harbour so its easy for peoples who wanna go ferries or arrivals evening Turku with boat. Hotel is not City trip hotel coz is away city center ab 2km and one of only ones where is still smoking rooms

I can only echo the views of the previous reviewers. Very quiet hotel, helpful reception staff. We ate at the hotel in the evening - lovely chicken salad and my partner had meatballs. Both very well cooked/prepared.Breakfast was tasty and able to be eaten at a leisurely pace as the ferry terminal was no more than one minute away on foot.

Spent 2 nights in this hotel in April. Rooms are a bit outdated but clean. The personnel in the reception and restaurant were nice and helpful. You would think that being just between 2 busy ship terminals there would be lots of noise. This was not true. The nights were very quiet, only the sound from the passenger ship's horn was loud enough to be heard. The breakfast was the standard breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, veggies, yoghurt, berries and fruit. However my compliments to the chef, because the eggs were tasty and the bacon so very crispy :D The free parking is a definite bonus !!

I stayed here for 3 nights. The buffet breakfast was substantial, the staff were happy, the room was cosy, and as I was going on MS Viking Grace, this hotel was just across the road - very close and ideal for my day trip. I followed the river up to the town and it was 45 minutes (but I also stopped along the way to take photos so it may have been slightly less), the castle is close by and the maritime museum. This is a great place to stay
