Awesome experience and great staff! We arrived and even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us for our anniversary!

I arrived with 3 friends at the hotel and the receptionist said that I had a 2 bedroom condo botanical view. I corrected her letting her know that we had reserved a 2 bedroom ocean view. She said "close your eyes really tight and imagine you can see the water." My friends and I thought she was joking and laughed...until we got to the room and found out she was not. I went back down to the front desk and the manager informed me they were booked on ocean view rooms and they would move us the following night. At 5:00 the following day we moved into the new room. No help from staff on moving bags from one side of the resort to the other. Our "ocean view" was a joke. We had to stand on a chair to see the ocean! While at the resort we stayed by the pool and on the beach and was only offered a drink by the staff 1 time. We had to go to the bar to pick up drinks each time. On the last day of our trip, we wanted to take the bikes to the market before our snorkeling excursion. We asked to borrow them at 7:24am and was told we would have to wait until 8:00 per hotel policy. I informed them that we would only need them for 20 mins and would have them right back but she said no and that we were welcome to wait in the lobby for 30 mins. The resort is nice and quiet but we will not be returning to the Royal West Indies on our next trip. I have never written a review before this trip but the staff were rude, condescending, and unwilling to help. Sad because the island is stunning!

We enjoyed our ocean front top floor room. Great view. The beach is fabulous. Always plenty of chairs and umbrellas. We dined at the onsite Pelican Bay restaurant a couple of times. The food and service were very good. And the bar is always a fun place to meet other guests.

Was at this hotel before and again had a great experience. Check-in was improved and they provided drinks upon arrival. Also had a great time at the pelican baby seafood fest on wed and food was excellent. . All the staff was polite and friendly.Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Had and issue with the t.v. and called the front desk and within a few minutes somebody came and fixed it. Will stay here again.

I paid for a room with ovean view... what i got was a third floor room facing ocean with a huge palm tree complelely blocking view. Complaints to front desk were dimissed until i finally escalated to management. NOT what was paid for!!! No credit or compensation was offered by hotel... stay elsewhere if you are looking at this hotel

Royal West Indies is a very pleasant hotel providing all the amenities one would expect for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. The staff is very friendly, the beach is real close and well organized with chairs, umbrellas, towels etc. Live music is offered over the weekend (when we were there), breakfast is tasty and the hot spa helps cap an active day by the beach.

We enjoyed the resort very much. Our condo was very nice and comfortable. We loved the decor and we particularly loved the view of the beach and ocean.

Very quit hotel excellent for vacation nice restaurant super bowl party and lobster night.

We had a great week there mainly relaxing. We like the sparsely populated world-class beaches which are wide and endless, where sands are fine, white, and clean and ocean turquoise. There are plenty of restaurants on the island but most of the decent ones are quite pricey. Having rented a car, we explored all the major attractions on the island. Roads are in good condition on the paved sections and traffic light in general. However, several areas on the southwest are not easily accessible due to unpaved roads which are bumpy or rocky in some sections.

I've stayed that the resort five or six times. It is the best value in TCI. Beach is great. The landscaping was not as perfect this year as it has been in the past. Overall 4.5

Food was terrific at the Pelican Bar, best stretch of the beach on Grace Bay. Smaller than the other resorts which was a plus, didn't have to fight for beach chairs.

A truly wonderful place to stay! Beautiful luscious grounds, lovely pools and hot tub! Have a blast each evening sitting in the hot tub in exchanging stories with others who were visiting. it seems most of the people are on their third or fourth day there! It is beautiful comfortable and very pleasant environment with great security. This place is a winner!

- Nice and sandy beach; - Deep ocean (entrance/exit depends on weather - might be challenging for some); - Full kitchen and washer/dryer in the Suite (1 bedroom garden view); - Not far from restaurants and shopping - 10-15 min walking distance; - A little bit too firm mattress (I'd prefer plush) in the master; - Sleeper with spring coils could be better too; - Everything on the island is expensive (taxi is per person and drivers do not know anything below $10 even for 3 min drive);

WiFi bad really bad couldn't even access internet for printing airline boarding passes

Loved everything about this place and quietness too. Not a lot of kids and only I would say is food is not so good unless it's lunch (I didn't have beeakfast). The beach is amazing too

Nice location on the beach and helpful staff...good food and drink!

This is a great place, on the smaller side but very happy and would definitely go back. Very clean, location is great, beach is great. All in all, very happy.

Overall - was happy enough for the price. We were there though a tropical storm (Hurricane Matthew), didn't hit directly but wasn't the best weather, but the hotel and the island were prepared for worse. They do offer books and DVDs free which is a nice touch. Bikes, Hobie Cat, boards are nice. Beach is nice, not near a reef if you like to snorkel. Room was clean and comfortable, had an adequate kitchen, nice ocean view. hotel staff is generally helpful and friendly. Everything was generally good, not great.

My husband and I just returned from a week at the Royal West Indies Resort. It is the perfect place to stay in Provo. Location is great and staff was friendly and very helpful. Rent a car and see the island. Driving on the left hand side is easy and economical. Looking forward to returning to this beautiful island.

The experience was fabulous!! The staff was very friendly and the hotel was right on the beach.
