I am so glad I ended up staying at the Hotel Torino Porta Susa! Talk about a slightly hidden gem: this small establishment is quite unobtrusive, but it was exactly what I wanted and needed for my short stay in Torino. The staff are fantastic -- in fact, I feel I may need to write a letter of commendation to the front desk personnel, who could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again, and will gladly mention it to other people I know who propose a stay in Torino. Other pluses: eco-friendly policies (if you decline having the room cleaned and towels changed, you get a free beverage each day of yoyr stay) and they offer coupons that provide a discount at a small cafe just a few doors from the hotel. I had one of the BEST lattes of my life when I stopped by, and a wonderful sandwich. Highly recommend for guests who are not looking for anything fancy, but who like a good quality hotel with great staff.

Great hotel and lovely rooms. The only issue when you’re trying to get an early night is the thunder of the trams going past and the noise coming from the restaurant downstairs when they drag their tables in and close their metal shutters!!

Torino Old City Centre

Reception is on the 3rd floor. staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and functional. Close to the station and transport hub. Enjoyed our stay and walked to most of the attractions. Had Breakfast at GB Caffé next door as recommended.

It's in a good location, 10 minutes walk from the station, the road was remarkably quiet when you consider where it is. The staff were friendly and the room clean and comfortable. There's even a terrace where you can sit.

I really enjoyed my stay. Great location for Porta Susa station. The room was quite large and very comfortable. I slept very well. The two ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Reception was up on second floor via a small lift or stairs. room was on fourth traffic noise was acceptable, floor room clean, with kettle for tea/coffee. Hotel not far from Porta Susa main line and tube. For travelling get day rider tickets for tram bus and tube under 6 euros not forget to validate on each trip on each bus etc you get so 4 trips 4 validates. If you visit 00the Egyptian museum it closes on Mondays at 2 so arrive when it opens as it takes at least 5 hours to see it all

Clean, comfortable and convenient

This is the second time i’ve stayed at this hotel due to it’s convenient location near Porta Susa. It’s very clean, the staff is helpful, and the bed was comfortable. The room is small, but perfectly adequate for a night’s stay passing through. The tram could be heard through the closed window.

Nice traditional building - basic accommodation.

Great location very near train station and easy walk to places of interest. Older building with a lot of character, nice big windows looking out into street. Rooms and bathroom a little basic / old fashioned and slightly odd smell. Hotel is on 2nd floor - there is an elevator but it’s very small / older cranky style so not suitable for all.

Disappointing and felt unsafe

Hidden balcony above the room with no access and no way to know who could access room from above. Smelled of smoke despite no smoking sign. AC did not work well. Shower overflowed. No lock box in room but required room key drop off every time you leave the hotel. I left before the evening was over and booked elsewhere.
