If you are hitting Turin and looking for a value for money, clean, large roomed hotel that is literally next to the train station (Porto Susa) then this would suit. Staff were helpful (particularly the gentleman on the desk during the week), has a restaurant in the building which does an 8 € breakfast which was fine (which does not appear to be part of the Hotel, but offers discount to guests and was very good for dinner). Has fridge, but no kettle which was unusual and disappointing. No laundry service was offered. Is about 15 minutes safe walk from historical areas of Turin or if walking is not your thing, the underground is at the hotels door and it is the easiest underground in the world to use having only one line and this can take you close to most attractions. I’d considering as a budget alternative, request a room at rear for less noise from road.
because the hotel is located on the verge of the historic city center, which is about a 10-minutes walk away. The hotel offers spacious, well equipped rooms, either with modern or old style type of furnishings. Bathrooms may have only showers. Everything is clean and kept in good shape. The rooms can be somewhat noisy depending on the location to the main or side street. The front desk is in decent command of the English language, helpful and customer oriented. For guests travelling with their own car are only 3 hotel parking places available in front of the hotel at 15€/day. Wlan free of charges. A restaurant in the adjacent building (connecting door) offers breakfast and meals, but there is also a variety of attractive bars and restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is not bad a stay at moderate prices if you want to explore the city for a few days.
A safe, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located hotel that allows you to enjoy all Turin has to offer. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. Surrounded by great restaurants, cafes and shopping. We will definitely be back.
We have stayed here several times before and always found it pleasant and agreeable. This was no exception. Instead of booking direct we had for various reasons gone through an agency and as a result found ourselves in a double at the front. We explained that regardless of what the agency might have said we wanted a twin and preferred the back. The hotel immediately prepared another really pleasant twin bedded room with a balcony overlooking a pleasant garden. The breakfasts are adequate. The rooms was generally very quiet but there was the occasional ain't rumble from the metro. The location cannot be faulted. The back entrance to the station is two minutes away. A walk through Porta Suza station brings you to main shopping streets through which a twenty minute stroll brings you to Piazza Castillo at the city's heart. We shall always stay here when visiting or staying over in Turin.
I stayed for three nights at the hotel. Room was a little above average for a 3 star hotel. Clean, but no double bed. Not the best sound insulation. Wifi was ok, most of the time. Parking costed my 15 eur per day (could be lower ?) No view, at least from my room. But, location is perfect : close to businesses, university, train, metro, centre !
Reserved hotel near train station for convenience. Was happily surprised at how close to Porto Susa and in such a great area. Near famous gelato/bakery and restaurants. Walked to other shopping and restaurants within minutes. Was very happy with staff, cleanliness and breakfast. This hotel is a treasure for the price.
My friend and I stayed here for a weekend. We caught the train from Milano Centrale to Torino Porta Susa. This hotel is just a short walk from Porta Susa. Our room was very big, full of furniture (that could be halved!). Good sized bathroom as well. The glass doors opened onto a balcony looking over the garden. Sitting here would be lovely in the warmer weather. It was an easy walk into town and to some of the sites Torino is famous for. Breakfast is good too, with a buffet of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, meats and cheese. The restaurant is also open to the public and is open for dinner. Hotel guests get 15% off if they dine here. We did this on the second night. They have a la carte and a salad buffet. Good value, especially when you're too tired to go far to eat!
This charming hotel is only a few steps away from the train station Torino Porta Susa, and also easy to access by car. The staff is extremely friendly and will answer whatever question you may have. The rooms are spacious, very well maintained and clean, restored to the way the were, with all the new technology of today. The price/value is excellent. Only a 15 min walk to the city center. Wifi is available for free. Really a very nice, friendly 3 star hotel. Kristine
The hotel is situated in the very heart of Torino, just next to the Porta Susa station. The rooms are very big with comfortable beds. The breakfastbuffe include what you can expect. Everyone in the staff is very kind and helpfull. I can strongly recommend this hotel.
Arrived in Torino by car, now to find the hotel. Sat nav is great if you have the correct spelling for the street name , which we didn't! However because this hotel is situated right by the station, we found the place okay, with a parking spot right outside on the main road at 10 euro per day- not bad! Nice welcome, and very large room with great big balcony overlooking the courtyard, a bottle of wine from the downstairs restaurant ( very handy) while getting ready for night out. Intending to go and have a few drinks then a meal, we got approximately 150 meters to ' the 'isle of skye' pub, where we had a few proseccos and guiness's.hearing my accent at the bar we got chatting to the locals, and ended up just having a bar snack about 1 am before heading back ! Love Torino! Torino is really quite a grand city, wide boulevards, and a feeling that it is on the way up rather than down ( it's had a few of each over the years.) Spent the next day exploring, from the hotel it's really a ten minute walk down past the station to what is the centre, in terms of restaurants and the main sights. The hotel was ideal for a 2 night stay great vfm and location.
