Our group selected this because it was associated with the Marriott points system and close to the vendor we were visiting. It is however a few miles from down town and requires a Taxi ride which is no big deal. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were very good and the staff very friendly. It is close to a mid range mall and Italy's answer to Whole foods, Eataly. Eataly is a great place for dinner as there is a large variety of restaurants as well as a high end grocery store. They only thing they could improve is their gym. It is usable but would be nice to have another treadmill as the mornings get busy, also the addition of foam mats for floor work and foam rollers would be great.
Outstanding hotel. Clean, elegant, modern. Close to subway. I would stay here over and over. Bathroom is nice, lobby very nice. Beds are comfy. I couldn't think of a nicer experience. A must visit if you're in Turin.
Arrived at the reception desk without ptevious booking after leaving another hotel with lousy rooms. The staff made an effort to find an adequate room although almost full booking. Nice spacious room. Modern. Comfortable bed. Very well maintained. Good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely a good choice for Torino.8
The hotel is well located, not too far from city center (4 stations on the metro to Porta Nuova). The staff was great and helpful, they spoke to us in English and French which was really practical, and gave us some good tips on the city. The room was spacious and neat, bed really comfortable. We also enjoyed exclusive use of the Jacuzzi which was really relaxing after long days of visiting. But the best was the restaurant, the food was fabulous and very fairly priced for such quality. The porcini risotto and the battuta were to die for.
I am in Torino on business and took the scenic route from the aero port in Malpensa, (Milan) to Turin via high speed train. The trip was simple and fun to travel with WIFI the entire way while I saw the country side of this amazing country. The trip cost was about 50 euros which is way less than if you rented or took a taxi so I highly recommend the train! The hotel is located in a nice, safe area of Turin, (Tornio), and walking distance to eateries and a mall for items you might have forgotten. Also the hotel itself is amazing, clean, updated and quite. I stayed on the third floor and got a suite which was way more room than I needed for about $150.00 on a Monday. Enjoy and stay here if you need to visit Torino on business.
As you would expect in a Marriott, this hotel had all the best and necessary facilities and was lovely to stay at. There is a tour bus stop nearby but it is very limited in stops and places. We used Metro which is also not very far. There is a shopping centre not far from hotel which we did not discover till our last day but it is huge.
We are staying at the hotel for couple of days while visiting Turin. The property is very neat. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The only drawback is that the hotel location, it's around 4KM away from city center. If there is no car it could be quite challenging
Nice rooms, great lobby and available parking for a modest fee. It's walkable to the metro line and very easy to get out of town to the south side. It is a struggle to exit town to the north side, but for that I blame Torino, not AC hotels. I would stay here again if I came back to Torino.
I stayed at the AC Hotel (Marriott) for two nights on vacation. What I appreciate about the hotel: 1. Fast and free internet (stream Netflix) 2. Very near to Eataly, awesome restaurants, grocery store, wines, and beer. 3. Free breakfast 4. Parking on site, for 13€ a day 5. 1.50€ metro to middle of town 6. Bed is okay, but not what you would get in US Marriott 7. Huge meeting area on ground floor 8. Decent price of ~105€ a night with breakfast Areas to improve: 1. Eggs and bacon for breakfast are not cooked well 2. Not centrally located. 3. Only one person at front desk and no concierge. Overall I recommend.
Positives Quiet rooms Good matress Friendly Staff Fair Breakfast Treadmill Clean & well maintained Plenty of great Osteria & restaurants in the vicinity, easy Metro access Possible Improvements Jacuzzi smelly Steam room out of order (not recently either) Parking payable €13 (FoC next door at NH Lingotto) Hot water in gym showers and bedroom shower seemed to take an age to arrive Not enough to put me off going back but as with other reviews there seems to be a lack of attention to details, otherwise 5*
